I live in Birmingham but anytime I am near the wiregrass, I make it a priority to visit East River Trading! The jewelry, clothing, art, and gifts are sheer perfection! The best part, however, is the conversation and one of a kind service provided by Jennifer and her employees. I have been able to call and purchase gifts for local friends with Jennifer knowing exactly what the person wants, making me the best gift giver ever!! And because all clothing is made in house, my pieces are unique, fitted to my body, and I can have a say in the design. Cannot recommend this store enough!

I absolutely love shopping with Jennifer at East River! She's such an eccentric character and always makes shopping in her store fun. We always have great conversation and she always tells me of more hidden gem shops like hers that are around!
Her products are just as great as her customer service. Jennifer has an amazing variety of handmade soaps, candles, colognes and much more. She also carries her clothing collection, furniture/decor, and amazing jewelry. This shop most definitely has something for everyone!

ERT is the most unique and interesting shop in our area. I have been shopping here for years and find something (for me or as a gift) special every time I go in. There is always something new to touch or smell or try on - and if I'm giving a gift, she wraps it in the most charming little bags (it's the little things that count).

Jennifer makes every experience fun, and my very favorite thing is that she customizes pieces just for me. She knows my style quirks and finds a way to make her awesome designs work with them. Sometimes I even get to watch her make it!

From candles to art to jewelry to furniture to custom clothing...everything just smells and feels good. If I could give East River Trading 100 stars, I would.

East River Trading is not just a retail store, but an experience! Jennifer Donaldson has amazing creativity! Each one of her pieces are original! There are tons of fabrics to choose from if you want something made and her prices are very reasonable. Jennifer’s styles are appropriate for a very wide range of ages!

If you see something hanging on the rack that you like, but it doesn’t quite fit, Jennifer will cut it on the spot and make it work for you! I get compliments on my ERT dresses and tops everywhere I go!
ERT also has great jewelry, terrific soaps and candles! You must stop by this charming shop!

I stopped into East River 4 years ago looking for an outfit for an out of town wedding. Jennifer made the whole experience fun. She was warm, engaging and accommodating. I walked out feeling like a million bucks and she will make you feel that way too! It is the most fun I’ve ever had shopping and I love to go and check out all the cool funky jewelry, clothes, candles and such. Run, do not walk to East River! I promise you have the best time and gain a new friend! I know I did.

Moving to Dothan, I was so sad that there were no eclectic, charming, specialty shops (like I was accustomed to in Fairhope)... until I discovered East River Trading. Every single time I have gone to ERT, it has been a wonderful experience!

Jennifer is amazing; she even altered a dress for me right there in the store so that I could wear it that night. Her “For the Lady” fragrance is my favorite!! Her soaps and lotions are divine, as well.

In addition to the dresses and tops that I have purchased and loved, Jennifer’s jewelry collection is incredible. You can find such beautiful, elegant, unique jewelry there. It is my go-to for birthday and Christmas presents.?

ERT is my favorite store in Dothan!!!

Jennifer, the owner, is talented, funny and smart. (She's also beautiful and creative, but three is enough, I think.) Left last week with five fragrances and am ordering more online tonight because I've given away everything I bought. Next trip I'm taking my daughter for a custom dress or shirt.
