What a gem of a bookstore right here in Manteca! The owner is such a welcoming person and so helpful. I love that I can bring in books that are collecting dust on my shelf and exchange them for new titles. I was pleasantly surprised by how much store credit I got for my stack. Can’t wait to load up on more reads!!!

This place is wonderful. The owner is awesome and very helpful. I have been here a few times and she has a ton of books. If you are looking for a book - I would stop by and support a local business that has been here for I think over 30 years.

Huge selection, and very knowledgeable storekeeper! She can guide you to just about any book you're looking for. Such a nice place. Don't expect yard sale prices here. I'd estimate I paid around 30% of cover price for books in like new condition. So that's a 70% discount AND they happily give store credit for trade-ins. Store credit can only be used on used books, I believe (which is the vast majority of the selection here, but they have some new books.

Favorite store in Manteca!!!

As a Stephen King addict, it's pretty nifty he gets his own special section here so that's been my oasis lately.

Wonderful eclectic selection... as cliche as it is to say "there's something for everyone" that definitely rings true at this book haven as I've gotten countless books for myself and others here. Definitely a Manteca treasure and I hope this place stays around forever!

I used to work here. I loved it! I love going here for books. I take all my literary needs here first before I look elsewhere. My kids now enjoy book hunting with me. They have great deals and a good price on New books 20% the full price. Their store credit is utilized towards half the price of a used book but taxed on the full used price. You can build your store credit by bringing in your books and it never goes away. Same with credit for cds, videos, dvds etc. (Its separate from book credit).
