Nice bookstore but the staff needs a little more staffing. The young women who checked me out was great but the line was long and she needed another body to assist.
I've been to other BnN are there was a help deal in the center of store where employees could answer questions etc. sign of times I guess

Great selection and good displays. Children's section is literally always destroyed. I wish people would BUY the books they spend 2hrs reading to their children instead of reading there then leaving on the floor for someone else to pick up!

This is the new local Barnes & Noble. It's a much smaller store than the previous location. The staff are not friendly and helpful. You can be here looking for things and look lost and no one will help. The plus side is there's lots of parking and the store is always clean.

Tried to call for details on Onyx Storm book release. I was told "I don't know" & "I think it's on Tuesday" In a world that brick and mortar bookstores struggle you would think knowing about highly anticipated book releases would be of consideration. I then visited the website as the employee instructed me. To find it said to call the location to sign up for event and get details for Onyx Storm release. That's funny. FYI: Santa Monica location is opening early and Jeremy even offered to hold me a copy. Head over there!

I loved the space. They had recommendations on what to read in each section, with little summaries for recommended books. I was looking for something specific and the staff helped me find it right away. They were very kind. I’m not from the area, but will return if I’m ever here.

Online inventory isn’t accurate. Employee tried mansplaining to me an incorrect description of the item I was looking for. 🥴😭 He wouldn’t believe me when I told him that in Korea, EPs are called mini albums. He kept trying to correct me and tell me that mini albums mean that it is in small packaging. The correct dimensions are literally in the product description on the B&N website. 😂😂😂

I love the new design. It’s well organized and everything looks just perfect. I love the mystery section, the kids corner and the stationery section. Great store! My new favorite!!
