recently visited The Shade Store to pick out window treatments, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dalton R. From the moment I walked in, Dalton was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He took the time to understand my needs, preferences, and the specific style I was going for in my home.

What truly stood out was his extensive knowledge of the products. He explained the different options in detail and helped me narrow down the best choices for my space. His eye for detail was impeccable—and he was able to give me specific reason as to why certain combinations may or may not work for my space.

What I appreciated most was his patience throughout the process. I had a lot of questions and needed time to decide, but he never rushed me. Instead, he guided me with kindness and professionalism, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend visiting this location

Pro tip: ask for Dale! He is amazing!! My husband is a very anxious buyer with lots of detailed questions and concerns. Dale addressed all of them and took all the time we needed to help us choose our perfect window shades. He's got a good eye for design and had lots of beautiful, practical suggestions for us. Dale is the man!

Dalton assisted me with new shades for our home. He was patient, kind, and so knowledgeable about the products.
He has a wonderful design perspective that added to the ease in selecting shades. All of his recommendations were spot on. He communicated very well and let me know what would work in my space. He did not try to sell me more than needed or something that would not work long-term. The shades are absolutely fabulous and so solid!!

I had a fabulous experience with the Shade Store in Marina del Rey! The showroom displays a variety of customized window treatments and there are a many beautiful fabrics available. I was given complimentary swatches which made it easy to select which fabric worked best in my home. From my initial visit to the store to the installation of my new shades, I had superior customer service! The entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work.
I had the pleasure of working with Dalton who is a very customer focused window treatment consultant! (not a pushy sales person which I found with other window treatment companies) Dalton listened to my needs and provided me with a variety of options. Throughout the process, he was patient and gave me excellent guidance. Dalton was always very responsive to my phone calls and emails.
I also really enjoyed working with Mark who measured my windows and installed my new shades. Mark is a true professional with excellent skills!

UPDATE: I had an issue with my project and needed to follow up with Dalton to problem-solve. He continued to work with me and provide seamless customer service with the goal of getting it done right. There are less expensive options out there, but I am so glad I chose The Shade Store because when the issue arose, they stood by their product. I don't think this would have been as easy on me with another brand/company. Grateful for the commitment to service and lack of hassle to get everything installed right.

Had a great experience with Dalton Rawson at the Shade Store in Marina Del Rey. Was very happy with the look and quality of the roller shades that I ordered, but honestly most impressed with Dalton and his customer service. He made the entire experience seamless and went over and beyond to handle a few small issues that came up. I am grateful for his attention to detail and helping me complete my project. I was shopping for window coverings for a rental unit. Durable and affordable were my top priorities, but he treated me and my project as if it was top of the line. I am very happy with my wooden blinds and blackout shade from the Shade Store. The quality and workmanship is far better than the competition, the price is reasonable, and the online scheduling is so convenient and easy. And it was so nice to be able to go into the beautiful MDR store and see all the products on display. And Dale was such a pleasure to work with. He stayed on top of everything from start to finish and was immediately responsive to my calls and emails. When there was a glitch with the shade, he was in regular communication with me until it was taken care of. I highly recommend working with Dale and the Shade Store!
