Westgarth offers interesting wines across the various regions of France, which are my exclusively focus. Their multiple bottle offerings are for folks who are serious about wine and want to experience a age worthy wine over time. Another positive is that some of the older vintages they offer can difficult to find other places without relying on auctions. You always have to price compare on sites like wine-searcher to evaluate all in value of availability/price/shipping cost.

0 stars would be more accurate. As another reviewer commented, Westgarth Wines is, in my opinion, neither a reliable nor reputable wine retailer. I placed an order in August, 2021 with an estimated 60-90 day arrival. I followed up by email several times requesting the status of my order. I received no response. What I did receive, however, were unsolicited sales calls asking me how I enjoyed the wine I had ordered (and never received). When I confronted this business about the $1600+ in wine I never received, I was told they would “check in shipping.” I have canceled my order and requested a refund.

I don’t particularly enjoy going to court as a hobby, but for this retailer, I will make an exception if I don’t receive a full refund.

I'm a big fan of Westgarth wines. Their selection is impeccable and their customer service is quick to respond to questions. I've had 2 cases delivered and I have never had any issues. Their Bordeaux futures selection is the best in the state!

Very questionable business practices. Found the wine I wanted, ordered it and then was told it could take 4 months to get it. I told them I don't want to wait 4 months for this wine, I received an email back that said basically too bad so sad we do not offer refunds. SO I am at their mercy on when I get the product but they have already received their money. 4 MONTHS!!!! Definitely the last purchase from this place.

Westgarth was one of the only places domestically where I could find the champagne we wanted for New Years Eve...not only did they get our wine here in time, but Alex went out of his way to make sure it happened. Would definitely recommend for cases of hard to find wines.
