Neighborhood market where everyone is neighborly. Great staff, impressive spread & selection for a pretty smallish joint. The hot prepped mex counter is absolutely 🔥 & so is the ceviche!

They cash checks, Have a meat deli, a lil place they sell burritos and hot food, plus the usual grocery stuff and a lil spot where they sell household stuff sewing needles, brooms, screw drivers. One stop shop.

Staff is very nice. You can find Mexican products here much more readily than at the big supermarkets; produce is usually very fresh and you will find some vegetables thst we use in traditional dishes that again, are not available at some of the bigger stores. I like some of the cuts of beef, but am disappointed that the Carne asada meat is not marinated. The only negative things I can say is that sometimes the market smells bad and that at times there are some people standing outside panhandling and just looking plain scary.

It is a little neighborhood market, in the Tower District, but their butcher cut meats are fresh and their made-in-store guacamole is delicious! I go there when I'm having a craving for carne asada nachos! Their staff is friendly and helpful, their store is clean and well stocked.
