Far away from the city, very quiet. At night, you can see the sky full of stars and the full moon. The peace of mind is more important than anything else.

With the arrival of autumn, the beach seems to be quieter. The overall feeling is that it is quiet and safe. Of course, this is closely related to strict management. In addition, everyone's high-quality work plays a key role. In short, a good environment is the result of everyone's efforts.

I lived here for a year and have loved the Wayfarer but also been disappointed at times. I’d say a great experience here and would definitely recommend it. I’m going to tell you my honest evaluation. I’m gonna start with cons because that’s what you’re here for

Cons:
- this place is thieves alley!! THIEVES. anything left unattended will get stolen. Bikes will get stolen. The common amenities area was completely robbed
- an elderly woman was physically assaulted within the property and the property did not alert us (but otherwise I felt safe)
- Staff can be inconsiderate, however, big kudos to Jordan. He is amazing!
- airbnb/Vrbo (despite being banned), the amenities are often abused by rentals and locals.
- dog waste everywhere
- charged $450 to clean after you move out (even if it’s already professionally cleaned)

Pros:
- quiet and beautiful location
- great community
- building is new and contractors keep the building pristine
- clean clean clean
- resort style amenities
- AC/large balconies/washed/drier
- tennis courts, deep pool, coffee machine, ping pong tables

Very kind staff! Specifically Michael from the leasing office and Hugo the maintenence manager. Whenever I have a problem they are both so helpful and friendly, which is very appreciated when I am stressing about my problem! Also, Cheryl the dock master is the best ❤️

The west coast doesn’t need hurricanes to ruin its beaches and harbors all that’s required here is TERRIBLE MARINA MANAGEMENT! OVERSIZED + OIL LEAKING BOATS, JET-SKIES PARKED ON THE DOCK-WALK WAYS, AN INFLUX OF EXPIRED OUT-OF-STATE REGISTRATIONS COMPLETE WITH SKETCHY CREW. SAD! GOING DOWNHILL FAST!

Wayfarer is a great place to live! The amenities are wonderful and very easy to access. The office staff is extremely professional and helpful. If you bring them a concern, they all go out of their way to address the issue and to make you happy and comfortable. The grounds are always immaculate and well kept. The residents are friendly and easy to get along with. Everyone tries to be respectful, especially in situations where we have to share the space like the clubhouse (which is awesome for entertaining!) and the pool area. It really is everything that they say it is when you take the tour.

My wife and I reside in the Palm Springs area and as the summers get unbearably hot, we have spent the last ten summers in Marina del Rey. After having spent the summers at the Oakwood, the Dolphin and the Capri we discovered the Wayfarer. What a wonderful place. The facilities are great. The pool, spa, barbecue and lounging areas as well as the office area make for easy living. But what makes it so much better than any other place we have stayed in is the staff. The management is knowledgeable and helpful and unlike some other complexes, they are available. The cleaning staff is first rate and the place is immaculate.

I've been in the Marina since 1991. This team has been the best I've ever seen. The dock master Cheryl, Management Sarah and Anthony and leasing team Jordan and Michael are always very attentive and ready to help when I call and come into the office. 5 stars all around!
