There we were, peaches ripened and ready for homemade peach wine and we had NO SANITIZER for our equipment. Dylan to the rescue! Though his storefront is no longer, Dylan responded quickly. After advising us we would need to go to the SFValley to buy any today, he asked us to hold on while he searched his personal stash and came up with some for us (free of charge!) out of an old bottle he still had lying around. We were right around the corner and he was able to absolutely SAVE THE DAY! What an amazing human to have gone above and beyond the way he did, speaks volumes and we will most definitely use his website and resources. Really just a gem! Peach wine would have otherwise been jam, thanks to him.

I phoned Dylan for advice on brewing a high gravity 5G brew using Nottingham yeast. He had such deep knowledge presented so I could easily understand my best approach to brewing success using dry vs starter yeast (see pic). Im glad to get his advice and store as a resource as you will too!

Great personal service by the owner, the "bearded brewer" himself,, who is extremely knowledgeable and loves the craft. Good selection of everything you need, for all levels. Plenty of kits and packages to simplify purchasing if you wish. Yes you can buy similar stuff online, and read all the forums you want, but the fastest and most effective way to get what you need and get to brewing is to visit the store and have a discussion with an expert. It's usually not crowded so there's plenty of time for individualized service. I always leave this place knowing more than when I came in, and the homebrew has been great because of it.

The Bearded Brewer is awesome! If you live in, near, or around Lancaster, don't bother shopping online. He has just about anything you'd need in both, brewing equipment, and ingredients! The prices are very competitive. He's one of those guys you can talk to as a beginner, and not feel stupid. He's extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. This place is awesome! This is my new go-to brewing supplier!

Best home-brew supply store ever! I've had to travel all around LA, Ventura, and Kern counties to get some specialty items that on-line sites could just not do.
