For the past 4 years, I've enjoyed this market. When we first moved here, it was great to be able to walk over there for a quick whatever I , need. The place has changed since the new owners took over. The meat counter is impressive and affordable (except I haven't been impressed with the pork). Their produce used to be most excellent, now is bleh. You have to walk around displays to get to the next aisle in some cases. The music is TOO loud! And I am hard of hearing! The other day it was colder inside than out! Not a pleasant place to shop anymore. And what happened to the breakfast sandwiches? There are still a few of the original employees who have been there all along, and I wonder how on earth they can stand working in the cold (and heat when the a/c was down this past summer). Some things you gotta do.

I am editing my post because I ran into this market yesterday. Again, it is so cold in there as to be uncomfortable. I do not understand how the employees can stand it. They must really be dedicated, which I can understand, but how can there be no a/c in the summertime (I remember those 90 degrees days and the stifling market) nor heat in the winter. I don't even want to shop there anymore!

The dozen frozen oysters I purchased were no good. I got food poisoning and got really sick for a week. Flu symptoms including fevers, diarrhea and vomiting. They should really not freeze product that isn’t good. My buddy who also purchased some got sick.

Never rely on this store for consistency. The only dependability at this store is the insane prices. Eggs alone are 12.99 for a dozen. If you need last minute dinner shopping, for the love of affordable and dependable service, go somewhere else.

Probably not the best place to get produce. And maybe a lot of other things without them being bad or expired. Theres always fruit flies all over the fruits and vegetables. I bought a bag of potatoes yesterday and the stench of rotten potatoes in there when i opened them at my house, was horrible. Reason im giving 2 stars is because the Avocados are probably the only good thing from there. Always just the right amount of ripe and green and fresh!

They literally didn't care that their seed cart got stolen. I wanted to get some but noticed they weren't there, and apparently they had no clue where it went. Worst store ever.

We came to this store on Saturday, July 20th. We actually shop here at least once a month. The store is well stocked, and has a beautiful meat market. They have actual butchers! Unfortunately the air conditioning was out, so the store was uncomfortably warm. I told the cashier that he had my sympathy, and that the store was about 1° cooler than outside. And of course this was a week that the beverage coolers decided to go out. But, they were making do. This is a nice little market, great meat, nice little deli bar.

Their 4 lb boxes of shrimp are great, and the prices are right. I also bought their 40 lb box of chicken jumbo legs amazing.
