Takeout and souvenir store only with no seating. This crumbly, sweet, much like the Russian butter cookie is a goid diversion from the road trip along the Pacific Coast highway. The cookie is crumbly and the plastic packaging provides little stability during hangling but comes in various sized packs and flavour variations. Great with a cup of coffee or tea. Tasting samples are available. Cashier service may need to be on top of promotional or gift packages.

If you like shortbread style cookies, this is the place for you. They are expensive, but a splurge now and then makes life worth living. They have expanded the cookie flavors they offer. Their brown butter cookies melt in your mouth. My favorites are the Ghirardelli Chocolate Chip, Molasses and the original Brown Butter. Yum!

Revisted this shop while staying in Cayucos. Everything was very nicely displayed. The selections looked yummy. They had samples of all their cookies. New addition is the spice butter brown cookie. We picked the toffee butter brown cookie. It is so yummy. The gals were very friendly and cheerful. We could see they loved being there and helping customers. Another addition is the frozen custard. They sre sold in cartons.

This was our first time shopping at Brown Butter Cookie Company. It is a convenient location in downtown Cayucas. There is parking in front of the store and across the street. No masks are required. The gals upfront were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Daphne at the order counter was excellent. She answered our questions. Placed our selections very carefully into the cellophane bag. The cookies look so yummy. Farron the cashier was excellent as well. It was very unusual to see ladies in back of the cashier at tables hand rolling the cookie dough into balls. Gives it a special touch.

The cookies quite pricey but delicious. Love the atmosphere and staff are nice and friend. They sure give few samples to try which one you would like. Ill get some more of them next time.

Went here and bought some cookies don't know what they did to the cookies but DAMN they are good . Lot of samples to many cookies to chose from . We go here ever time we are at the beach

Very rich, melt-in-your-mouth buttery cookies. I'm partial to the Oatmeal Raisin cookie, but you can't go wrong with any of the options. They are expensive, but worth it as a special treat.
