Cute local book store. I looove book stores and have been to many, many! This one is solid. Lots of books but I didn't see one I liked. I've definitely been to book stores with more options, but this is a bookstore in a small town, so that totally makes sense. If you're here on vacation, like I am, definitely stop in to get a book to pass the time. The lady at the counter could definitely have been nicer. But I was there 30 minutes before closing, so maybe she was ready to go home?

When im looking for books to purchase Blakes Books is always my first and typically my last place i need to shop. Such a wonderful book shop offering both new and used books. I always enjoy the great selection available for all. This store has been doing building in McKinleyville for a long time now and has earned a respectable reputation in the community. The woman who owns/ works the shop is always do nice and helpful. She trys to be as accommodating as possible with customers.

Great small local bookstore, the ladies who run it are top-notch at their jobs & are excellent people. They offer very fair trade-in value on used books and they have a large selection of new and used books throughout all categories. Worth checking out!
