We really appreciated the selection of unique rugs that really helped us personalize our home. Very high quality rugs too, not what you would find even in a higher end furniture store for a similar price. Plus Gunays gave us personalized service to get just the right rugs for each room. They are extremely knowledgeable about the construction & patterns of the different rugs.

My husband and I enjoy every visit to Gunay’s. We were first drawn to their lamps. We have 3 now around the house in different colors - which you can also switch out with another option making it easier to change things up a bit throughout the year. Today, we went in for pillows primarily but left with a rug even our little Zoey is in love with. It’s soooooo soft. The softest rug I’ve ever had. I’ve gotten rugs from Amazon, wayfair, department stores, etc and they don’t compare to the quality or uniqueness of the one we chose. I’m in love. Looks like my lamp obsession is now turning into a rug one… more visits! Yay! 💕

The rugs I bought at GUNAYS brought together two rooms in my home with disparate art and furniture from different aesthetics. They have rugs from different places and different eras. My wife and I had a great variety of rugs to choose from. The tone of the owners is spacious with no hard sell. That allowed the time to make the right choices for our family.

I happened to find this beautiful gem while visiting our son and was drawn into the shop by the window display. So glad I went in. I left with 2 beautiful pillows. Just before we were leaving Ojai, I thought I better purchase 2 more pillows b/c the colors are gorgeous and unique, they feel so luxe. Leaving to go back east and can't wait to see how beautiful my pillows will look on the sofa's. A beautiful store and the owner is very gracious and helpful.

Absolutely the most beautiful rugs I have ever seen- many to choose from in all sizes and colors-the owners will even come to your home, measure and bring as many rugs as you want to try in the area . Prices are great and the two gentlemen are so fun to work with. I have purchased 2 area rugs and I am going back for one more!

I was visiting the area, where I came across this original rugs place, I went in and talked to store owner and purchased a beautiful rug... Beautiful rugs, great selection, helpful staff. It was an easy and enjoyable experience. We got to look at a lot of rugs very quickly and efficiently. No pressure, no nonsense and just rugs!

Gorgeous shop located on Main St. in Ojai. Gunay is the most personable, helpful owner you would ever hope to interact with. We purchased a beautiful, colorful hanging light fixture which we had installed in our stairwell. Gunay worked with us until it was just right. The light is our pride and joy. I can't wait to go back to buy pillows and rugs. O! and the colorful little bowls we bought for soy sauce are a delight! Thank you, Gunay!
