Vicky's thrift shop is lovely and so is she! The clothes are washed, and her soaps are phenomenal.. Just absolutely divine! I always look forward to visiting her store when in Ojai.

The owners vibe is casual but certainly not unwelcoming and the items I’ve found here recently were actually very well priced (I got a Pendleton style blanket for $200 less than I saw it for at the rose bowl, I also got a very pretty table top tic tac toe game at a great price) the cherry on top is that the blanket had absorbed the amazing smells from the soap making area she has in back, first time I’ve ever thrifted a blanket that smells so good! I will be back!

Violets pink Thrift rocks. I needed a small revereware Style saucepan for making my three hard boiled eggs. She had one with a snug fitting mismatched lid making it even more perfect. $3

Do not go here if u are a young person or a person of color. The woman at the register followed us around staring at us the whole time and was super passive aggressive. For all the signs about race equality and stuff on the walls, that was not my experience at all. Soap smelled nice.

Violet is a personal friend of mine. Her shop has a Jewish bohemian ambience. It's also very casual. She sells wonderful homemade natural soap. I buy soap. She also sells her soap every Sunday at the Ojai Farmer's Market.
