Beautiful gift and jewelry store in Silicon Valley! Spent the afternoon shopping with a friend who LOVES this place. I'm in love now too! Amazing jewelry designed by local Silicon Valley artisans, as well as a range of globally designed artwork, masks, jewelry, sculptures, clothes, and one-of-a-kind gems!! Tell Alice, the founder and owner for over 40 years, that Denise O'Brien highly recommended her store, set in a cute hexagon-shaped standalone building in the peaceful paradise of Sharon Park off Sand Hill Road.

Shady Lane is a unique boutique that has a great selection of quality jewelry and gifts. Many of the items come from local artisans and businesses. This store is the perfect place for finding a present for someone special that matches any style and taste. If you are looking for something particular and unique, there is a high chance they will have it due to the vast amount of merchandise.

I've been going here since it was in Palo Alto, but now has been in Menlo Park since 2015. The new location is much better and parking is a breeze.

I adore Shady Lane! I’ve found lots of lovely jewelry here, beautiful vases, and I love the tumblers made from recycled glass, incredible colors. So many great artisans represented here, one of the best gift shop/boutiques in the Bay Area.

Shady Lane is a wonderful store for finding gorgeous gifts and jewelry for family and friends. The selection is unique and extensive with wares from local artisans, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. Located in a lovely octagonal building in Menlo Park with plentiful parking, only a few miles away from the previous Palo Alto location, Shady Lane is a Bay Area treasure and one of my favorite places to go!

I've been shopping at Shady Lane since the 70's.
Whenever I need a special gift for someone, that is the only place I go. Shady lane used to be in downtown Palo Alto until the greed of the landlord chased it to Menlo Park.

It's a loss for Palo Alto, but an amazing win for Shady Lane because the new building is beautiful and all of the artisan jewelry and other gorgeous handcrafted pieces are shown in the most outstanding way.

It's gotten to the point where if I don't give at least one present to someone in a Shady Lane Box, they are disappointed.

I would give them 10 stars if I could!
