The lady with the black bob behind the counter provides appalling customer service. I won’t be back to support this business. She was very passive aggressive and seems to look down on people who aren’t dressed well or appear wealthy. She rushed me when I spent a long time looking at stuff.

Looking through other reviews I’m not the only one who had this experience.

Gem of a bookstore. I loved all the cards as well as children’s book selections because of the awesome throwbacks they had. The price was great, and it’s clear it’s a well curated store. Will treasure my purchases for sure!

An inviting, beautiful storefront. Several neat items & cute cards, which I would have been tempted to buy had everything been less expensive. (I was bummed to see that Rifle Paper Co. prices were way higher in store than online directly from the seller.) Perhaps a lovely place to go when I am less poor than I am now.

We visited in October & found this little cottage of stationary-heaven fully delightful and filled with numerous purchasing options. You will find high-quality stationary and cards, many trinkets and treasures and gift items, and a wonderful host. The owner was quite lovely. We will certainly return to the area and visit again.

Gwen has such a beautiful space; it feels as though you are walking into her home filled with beautiful little touches of love. Plenty of selection of wonderful stationary, gifts, cards, and items you never knew you needed. An absolute must-visit and a local business worthy of your support.

This CUTEST shop to visit in Palo Alto! The owner has worked there for over 25 years and is very kind and genuine. They deliver personal and professional customer service in this tiny shop. There are so many cards, books, stationary, and trinkets to look at, the owner has impeccable taste! I’ve bought some cards and postcards here, as well as a wax sealing kit. There are no photos allowed inside or else I would attach a few here!

One of my favorite places to buy a card or a gift. I love this shop. As soon as you walk in, you're tempted by the allure of high-quality notebooks and journals. And you're greeted by the warm, lovely staffers, who are as much of a reason to visit Letter Perfect as the terrific stationery and cards.

I appreciate the spectrum of cards they stock. Simple letterpress is available along with more traditional styles of cards.

Bonus: There's an area in the back where you can sit and write a card.
