I went in for the hot food of course 😃 , my lucky day, $1 tacos ! . I iam not sure if its every monday . I got asada and carnitas tacos. They have a good amount of meat , taste good, and the salsa is good. They sell hot food and fresh meats. They also have anything that you can find at any grocery store . I will definitely be back with the whole family.

I need the the city of Merced to send a inspector to see if El bajio is working good cashier was not working and there meat department with the butcher types of meat was looking mold and flys flying around all the meat and doing the same thing with the produce zero Stars

They have good sale prices on select items. Don't expect primo produce, the oranges I bought weren't pretty on the outside but they were delicious and half the cost. It's a small store with most basics and a well-supplied butcher counter. It's main focus is on Mexican cuisine, so there are things common in regular groceries that you won't find here.

I recently had a shopping experience at El Bajio Market. Unfortunately, the encounter was less than satisfactory. As soon as I entered, the cashier seemed judgmental, making me feel unwelcome. To add to the discomfort, she rudely instructed me to put my backpack where she could hold it.

While complying, I noticed she left it easily exposed, creating a security risk. This lack of consideration for customers’ belongings was concerning. Additionally, I found the store to be overly priced, which added to the overall dissatisfaction with my shopping experience.

I believe customer service is a crucial aspect of any retail environment, and I hope the store can address these issues to create a more welcoming and secure atmosphere for shoppers in the future.

I was there today at 2:15pm to get some items for a BBQ. I go to the check out counter and the lady rings me up. She didn't say the total and by the time I realized I had 99 in change coming back I grab some change so I don't get the 99 cents in coins back. She tells me no. I step back as she's handing change out then she slams it (I kid you not slammed it)on the counter and goes to the next customer. I leave the change there on the counter, get my items and leave. I don't know what was wrong with this person to have her do that. I've been there several times the people in the kitchen and the meat counter are nice but I'm not sure if I want to come back to this place.

I don't come here often, but in the times that I have, I always find what I need.
This evening, I was in the market for pork steaks, and they have a huge selection of animal proteins. The meat counter, "carneceria," is located at the rear of the store.
They also have an area that sells hot foods. I haven't checked it out yet, but I will.

Waited half an hour to cash a check. They told me I couldn't because they never heard of the business. CALIFORNIA PSYCHIATRIC FACILITY in Delhi has been around longer than El Bajio. Sorry I don't have a check like your regulars. Very unfortunate.
