These guys (Sasha and Jeremy) are amazing. I had a rug that was given to us by my late father for our wedding gift nearly 30 years ago, which was unfortunately destroyed by moth. They cleaned it completely, and repaired it very very nicely, even accommodating my wish to put a little “evil eye” in the middle to protect it further from harm 😊. Sasha was I incredibly helpful from the first day I walked into their store and kept me abreast as how they are going to save my father’s special gift. All done for a very reasonable price. This rug is now going to be in a very special place. Thank you Sasha and Jeremy!!

I recently purchased a new home and after spending a seemingly endless amount of time searching for furniture and having horrible experiences interacting with vendors, I serendipitously came across the absolute gem that is The Oriental Carpet. This store is unlike any other in their industry, and the quality of service and attention to detail was quite honestly a bit of a shock. Their lead expert cared more about understanding my tastes and preferences than showing me carpets. After a lengthy discussion and walking through a variety of colors and styles, he would ask me what I thought about the rugs, and what aspects of the rugs spoke to me, and what about the rugs I disliked. This was by far the most pleasant experience that I've ever had shopping, and I left the store feeling a lot less anxious and stressed than when I arrived.

Over the next few days, the Oriental Carpet staff gathered a range of rug styles based on my tastes, and brought them to my home to place in various locations for review. I could tell that they understood exactly what I was going for based on my visit earlier in the week and brought some beautiful rugs that fit my targeted aesthetic perfectly. I ended up purchasing multiple rugs including the beautiful rug in the attached image. I brought them a very complex scenario involving a room requiring warmth and wanting a color transition that synergized with my garden patio, and as you can see they knocked it out of the park.

Most importantly, the staff at the Oriental Carpet genuinely cared about helping me get the perfect rug for me, not selling me inventory from their store. This is without a doubt the BEST carpet establishment in the region, and we should do everything to support amazing and genuine shops like this in the Bay Area. All of my future purchases will undoubtedly come from this store. Thank you Oriental Carpet, I absolutely love my rugs and it was an absolute pleasure doing business with you. Well done!

Jeremy and his staff helped us find the right carpet (we selected several and looked at them all in our home before making a final decision), installed the carpet with a new pad, and took care of our old rug. I needed a new rug for my living room and decided to visit the oriental carpet store last weekend! My mom has shopped here many times as well as my sister, so I knew I would find something beautiful that suited my space and that the customer service would be excellent. Jeremy was super patient with me and showed me all of the 8x10 rugs available in the store. When we went through those piles, he then pointed out possible some samples and showed me more images of rugs on the computer that he could have shipped here. They have such a huge selection it could have been overwhelming to decide which one. However, when I explained that my couch is blue and shared a picture of the room, Jeremy steered me towards rugs that wouldn't clash and wouldn't be too blue. I happened to see a rug hanging on the wall and figured out that it was my style. Based off this, I was shown some other options, which were later emailed to me. Throughout the entire process, Jeremy was very communicative and responded quickly to my emails and questions. He even offered to have the rug delivered to my house and said I did not have to commit to purchasing; he just wanted to make sure I was happy with it before I bought it. I was even offered other rugs to try, but I knew what I liked immediately when I saw it, so I just had the one rug delivered. The guys delivered my rug and set it up quickly, moving my furniture. It was such an easy experience! They wore shoe coverings, which I really appreciated and shared with me some best care instructions. I highly recommend oriental carpet. We had a great experience with The Oriental Carpet. We hired them to clean a number of rugs in our home that hadn't been cleaned in too long a time, and each aspect of the transaction was great. They came on-time to pick up the rugs, quoted us a fair price for the cleaning, and then allowed us to store the rugs with them for several weeks after cleaning while we completed a (dusty) construction project. They then delivered the rugs and the pads and set everything back to normal, including moving the furniture. Jeremy and his staff are always polite and careful, and they keep their commitments. We'd use them again in a minute. Highest ranking!
