I recently tried Bei Yuan Tea & Boba in Mira Mesa and really enjoyed their food. The meals were delicious, not just the main dishes but also the side dishes, which were a nice surprise.

Their combo meals are a great deal—under $20, and they come with Boba tea. It’s definitely worth the money. All the combos I’ve had were pretty good, especially the Taiwan beef noodles, which had great flavor and tender beef.

If you’re looking for some authentic Taiwanese food, this place is a solid choice.

This is one of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants! Very authentic and very delicious. I had a pork feet stew combo meal for lunch today. It is super yummy. The pork feet is not that fatty, you can feel the nice collagen with soft & chewy thick skin. It’s perfect. The combo comes with a drink which I ordered a green milk tea with 25% sugar. I also ordered their monthly special drink which is the jade oolong. With their own portable cup that you can purchase from their store, the tea is only $1.99! They definitely have the best tea in my opinion. Their salt& pepper chicken pieces are great as well. I highly recommend this place!!

The restaurant has a decent ambiance with a hint of Chinese style. We ordered desserts and snacks. The newly introduced osmanthus cake was quite good, and the purple rice yogurt was delicious. The shaved ice had an average taste, and the portion size was generous, although it had some clumps. There are plenty of parking spaces available outside.

I come here often to get mostly boba tea and popcorn chicken. I like that their tea has a real tea flavor taste. Their boba is the right texture for me. Their menu has a lot of traditional Taiwanese dishes. I can’t wait to try them one day.

I wasn’t feeling well so I ordered online for pick up.
I arrived and the waitress walk back and forth passed me, not saying a word. The place wasn’t even busy. After 11 min of me standing there waiting she approached me and rudely asked if I ordered online. No greeting no sorry for the wait. This place was better when it was tea station.

The quality of food truly downgraded. The rice tasted leftover and side dishes are not fresh either. I guessed the chief is not the same. The service is still good. Btw, they owes me 3 eggs which are missing from the order.

Average person must AVOID short rib

I ordered the short rib combo, and it was a fiasco. The short ribs are disaster, because they are chewy like rubber. Your only two options will be to swallow it as a whole or spit it out after “why bother” chewing. I am angry, and feel obliged to stop people from ordering it, and most importantly, I must stop this restaurant from making money out of this fiasco food.

Don’t even mention they cost 19 bucks

I have been a regular customer from quite sometime now and I usually buy thai milk tea with boba. Tonight, I bought the same and I was enjoying my thai tea and there were plastic pieces on the tea. As I was drinking the tea, something hard hit my throat, I started coughing and tried to spit it out to see small plastic pieces stuck to the boba.
This is very careless and ignorance to it's best!!
