This is the Asian supermarket with the highest ROI in the Bay Area. Always spacey and quiet, price of Asian produce is almost always the cheapest, unless other stores have specials on a couple of items

I come here to get organs and quails since I am a carnivore. Highly recommend. Some produces can be fresh but it's a hit and miss.

Has a lot of Sea food options and vegetables are fresh too at competitive prices. What I like the most is the way they cut fish. It's close to Indian (thin slice cutting) that's better than the 99 ranch cuts.

A bit run down but good for usual Asian goods. Seems to have a bit more viet stuff like herbs that are harder to find elsewhere. They don’t have the higher quality soy sauce we like to get though

Saturday 2/19/22 visit
No meat or seafood or cold goods in the back of the store, all closed off. Some dry and canned goods on the shelves, some pallets of noodles around, fair amount of produce.

It appears the store may be clearing out, though I did not notice any signs regarding this.

I had experience an extremely poor cashier service with an malicious unjustly accused in Milpitas Lion supermarket.
I was there on 8/3/2024 Saturday at around 5:40 pm for a light shopping.
I bought oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey etc s total of 6 glass bottles. The honey bottles were a bit sticky on the outer surface with dust , so I took 6 small plastic bags intended to wrap the 6 glass bottles before I loaded them into my car for safety and the sticky concerns. I didn't wrap the glass bottles right away because I thought it would be easier for the cashier to scan the bar code during checkout.
Cashier Muoi was suddenly meant and raised her voice "I 'hate' people take so many plastic bags " and put all the small plastic bags away below the cashier and insisted not to give me except I had to pay 10¢ for the big plastic bags. Yet I was afraid the glass bottles would bump into each other in the big plastic bag without wrap and broken.
I talked to supervisor Sum. She said she was busy. I saw there were 5 to 6 customers on the other line serving by cashiers..
If taking too many small plastic bags I understand should be avoided, but there was appropriate reason , I believe Lion Supermarket should not be that cheap.
