I love this place and have been going there for years. It's a family-owned business and they always make sure to stock a wide variety of produce and other ingredients that you might need for Asian dishes, as well as lots of other interesting things, such as wine and all the Bob's Red Mill grains, etc. It's so much better than going into Safeway across the street, and it's nice to support a local business. Please go there and buy stuff.

It’s been over 10 years since I’ve shopped at Golden Produce. I still have the reusable bags with their logo on them that I bought way back when. I’m so glad they’re still thriving. I’m writing this because I just found myself daydreaming about this special place and I wanted to write a review in appreciation. The family of owners are lovely people. Having this store was so great for me. They’re a true San Francisco treasure. I appreciate you guys! 🙏🏽

I love this grocery store. It's got everything, including a wonderful fresh fruit/vegetable section. It's the only place in the city that I've been able to find thai basil. Now that I've found this place, I'm never going back to the awful Safeway across the street.

I've lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years and have been going to Golden Natural since before I moved here. The owners remember me every time I come in and over the years have inquired how grad school was going, once I graduated they asked about my job, my moves to different apartments in the neighborhood, and knew about my condo purchase before I told them (the seller of my new place is also a customer at GNFs and is also friends with the owners). They have quality food, a great butcher selection, fresh produce, great cheeses and wine and all the staples a person needs. I have not only a local grocer, but neighbors and friends in them. Golden Natural is a wonderful place of comfort for me and I'm so happy to have them nearby.
I choose Golden Natural over Safeway or Whole Foods any day!!
