I just popped in for a potato, and it was only $1.99 for a five-pound bag? I was assuming this was a corner store with corner store prices and expected to pay $2 for one potato. It's more like a small old-fashioned grocery or true New York bodega. I'll be back, can't believe I was asleep on this place for so long!

I've lived in the neighborhood surrounding Nick's market for 4 years now. And they have never let me down. Never been a disappointment with their service. Their supplies or their kind and friendly interactions throughout the store, helping me find things or just chatting about our days and how we are in our lives at checkout. I highly recommend this market so anyone, even if you're just passing by looking for a snack, they're fantastic. They're amazing! And my living experience would be dimmer without them

What a great community amenity - has everything you could need or want with some great Middle Eastern ingredients as well. Produce is top notch and affordably priced. I can’t see myself going to another grocery store!

Love Nick's. The produce is fresh and fairly priced. One of the last family-owned markets left in this area. You won't find nicer owners anywhere.

This place is a block from my house and I absolutely LOVE it.

1. They stock up on fairly fresh produce and they reasonably priced.
2. They have a pretty large selection of stuff -- ranging from daily essentials like bread, eggs, and milk to more specific things like palm of hearts and three twins ice cream.
3. Most importantly though, the guys who run this store is amazing.
- I always get a greeting when I go in.
- One time I didn't have any cash on me and was just trying to buy a tomato, so I asked them to put it on my credit card. They told me the fee they would charge me for the credit card transaction would be more than the tomato and told me to pay them back the next time. Of course when I offered the next time, they said it was on them. How awesome is that?
- I saw them bring out candy and give it to a baby once!

Truly your neighborhood store!
