Stopped by this market on a Thursday afternoon around lunchtime for a sandwich - not very busy! There was only one person for both the cash register and deli. The sandwich was pretty decent (I’d definitely eat it again, turkey, havarti, sprouts, avocado, very fresh bread, didn’t care for the sundried tomato) - but I was concerned about the cleanliness... saw the man deal with cash, then come over to the deli and start on my sandwich with bare hands, then accepted my cash. Didn’t see him wash his hands. Would come back for the sandwich but worried about the cleanliness.

I've been a customer for nearly forty years as I've always lived or worked nearby. Just The Best! I am always treated good by this family and my patronage doesn't go unnoticed. I've never had one, but my out-of-town niece insisted that the sandwiches made here were the best delicious bargains ever.

Every city needs a corner spot like this with solid deli sandwiches, snacks and the staples. The veggies sandwich is *chefs kiss* loaded with fresh sprouts, sun-dried tomatoes, avo, the works. They also have hummus, falafel (and other vegan friendly goods.) For breakfast sandwiches, stop here too - for my New Yorker friends missing a bodega style menu, this place doesn’t disappoint. Come through!

I have been in the neighborhood 40 years and John and his family are great for the neighborhood. Fresh food and the deli is great. And John cares about the neighborhood not some one that just wants to make money off of it.

They always have what I need. Amazing sandwiches too (both breakfast and lunch). They even let me text them ahead of time to order! John, Joe, and Michael are gems.

The nicest people on the planet. I lived right by this place once. I had a big glass breakage accident at home, so I needed a broom. I asked them if they had brooms for sale, and instead they just let me borrow theirs. Totally in support of this place.
