I love coming to The Rainbow. Sam and Mona are the sweetest couple. They have an excellent wine selection. Sam is well versed in wine. If you go before 2p Monday -Saturday you can eat one of the delicious sandwiches Sam makes at the deli counter. My favorite is the Mission. This is my go to corner store.

Huge delicious sandwiches (recommend BLT with pickled peppers) always made to order by Sam the sandwich genius (and owner alongside wife Mona). In fact when I search Google maps for ‘sandwich’ nearby this place doesn’t come up but it certainly should. Highly recommend.

Best convenience store in the neighborhood. Mona and Sam are the best. If you don't know them, you should stop and say hi. Their best products include: Hummus (made by Sam) and their butter! Their cheese and butter comes from Petaluma and it's great quality. They often have small bottles of Sake, great beer selection and first and foremost great energy.

Proprietors Sam and Mona and their wonderful corner store with delicious sandwiches and a spectacular wine room are a long-standing asset in historic Eureka Valley (1881) and it's outstanding Castro community. Baklava is great.

The owner, Sam, is so friendly and is happy to stock on request. Their homemade hummus is delicious, prices are reasonable -- particularly when compared to Mollie Stones down the street -- and food is fresh. The wine selection is super impressive as well! Pay this little market a visit and you'll leave smiling thanks to the service, selection, and beautiful fresh flower bouquets that frame the door!
