Disappointed in my experience buying a Globe Haul. After my purchase, I decided to add a throttle so I returned to pick it up on another day and decided to test drive it first. Initially the throttle did not work. The explanation given was "it was sitting around for a few days" (This wasn't a satisfying explanation) Nonetheless the throttle was activated with the phone app and I then test drove it up the same steep hill I had ridden the demo model successfully on, and the power turned off in the middle of the hill. As a slightly built female rider, I had difficulty turning it around because it weighs 80 lbs. I was able to turn it on again and returned to the shop where I was asked what error codes I saw. No apologies for my experience or acknowledgment that the failure endangered me. Being focused on being safe I was not paying attention to the "error code."

I was then offered another bike and was told it would be delivered from another store by the weekend. They did kindly offer me a loaner to use in the meantime which was nice as I didn't have a way to get home. The weekend passed with no updates. When I called after the weekend, I was told the replacement had the same issue and they surmised it was a faulty Y cable. I've since heard other Globe owners having other experiences with power failures. I ultimately decided that this bike was too unreliable and given its heavy weight, not a risk I was willing to take. I asked for and received a refund without any problems for which I am thankful.

Overall I was disappointed in the store's communication and the product itself. I am thankful that I received a loaner and got a refund. I think that technicians should take bikes out for test rides prior to customers picking it up. It really didn't inspire confidence to have the throttle not work and for it to have a complete power failure on a hill several hundred yards away from the store. . .and then I felt my concerns about this were minimized.

Wonderful shopping experience. First called to check if they have the battery range extender, which they did. Went to the store and pick up the RE and cable and asked a few questions. Terrence was knowledgeable and helpful in providing info on how to use and other details. Definitely would recommend this store. The store is organized and clean.

Specialized came in clutch to get me back on the road quickly.

After I rounded out a tiny bolt, they were able to extract it and source me a new one within a day. Great support and nice staff.

Unfortunately a poor experience today - I walked in and was immediately approached by a staff member at the front desk. I started the conversation about how I'm looking to upgrade my specialized bike to something more modern, only to be cut off by the salesperson to take care of the person who came in behind me because they apparently had a bike to be serviced? Very strange sales approach. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but I certainly didn't feel like my time or interest in continuing to purchase specialized bikes (would be my 3rd) meant much to him.
