Great place to stop. I enjoyed the “pre-ground products”. The gentleman working was polite, attentive, and informative. He had great local recommendations. The dude definitely will talk your ear off! Great shop for the hiker passing through

The flower here is old and not going to get a fly high, especially if said fly lives in or near any major city in CA. 8 month old flower is not acceptable when THC content degrades rapidly after 6 months. Fact. Good grief.

Ok, disclaimer: I definitely totally have not been here but I’ve HEARD (I don’t do drugs NSA) from FRIENDS that their store slaps. Super cool knowledgeable people who specialize in natural products and it is honestly probably the best dispensary that my FRIENDS have been to. Very reasonable prices too. Or so I’ve heard.

Disgrace of a dispensary selling expired products.

Extremely disappointing experience at this dispensary. Decided to visit during vacation time in the area, I like to try to support smaller local dispensaries instead of going to the more and more common "chains" carrying the same brands everywhere..

Unfortunately this turned out to be a terrible decision.

Went during 4th of July week, and ended up purchasing 3 prerolls.

I realized after leaving the store that out of these 3 prerolls, one was over 6 months old (not ideal but still acceptable by the industry's standards), while the other two were over a year old over a year and a half old for the last one !

Assuming this was a mistake, since I understand inventory errors can happen pretty easily, I went back to the store within an hour of my initial purchase to see how we could resolve that.
For the record I've had similar issues happen at other dispensaries twice in the last 5 years, and this was handled promptly and without any issues each time.

Unfortunately this was not the case at June Lake Dispensary.

The employee started arguing that these were "still good", which isn't really the answer I was looking for when paying nearly 20$ for a preroll, and it also tends to contradict the clear "best by" date written in the package typically set a year away from the packafing date.

Once I pointed this out, showing the label (see attached picture) the employee went into some nonsense bro-science about how prerolls aren't ready to smoke when they're packaged and need to cure for a while...
Not sure if this was confusion, ignorance, or an attempt to trick me into believing this was normal, but when I mentioned that other dispensaries had exhanged/refunded purchases for similar issues he started asking the names of these dispensaries to call them !

Not sure what he was trying to get to, but save yourself some money and avoid that nonsense by shopping at some of the more reputable dispensaries on town.

I normally like this dispensary. I visited because my own homegrown was almost a year old. I bought a pre roll for $10 that was highly recommend by bud tender. After I left , I was dismayed to see the date on the preroll was two years old. Really? You're selling two year old weed for ten bucks as a preroll? I should have stuck with my own homegrown... I guess the lesson is to ask for the fresh stuff... I do like that they specialize in locally sun grown organic, but jeez, at least sell the two year old stuff for cheap... Come on.

This boutique store is very cool. They carry top notch strains at affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and informative. Many of these brands you can only get exclusively at June lake. If your in the area I highly suggest you drop by. Not to mention it’s across the street from a music venue and a pizza shop coming soon! I can’t wait to come back to the area in the summertime.
