I happened to drive by Becky's and, coincidentally, I was in search for a specific Jamaican spice, so I gave them a call to inquire about it.
The gentleman I spoke with was courteous, but unfortunately, they only offered large containers of the spice I needed. I was hoping for just a pinch or a tablespoon shoot, even a small 2oz bag, so this was a bit disappointing. I also noticed that while they do offer prepared food, the prices seemed quite high for items that were frozen.
On a positive note, I did find that they carry red palm oil, which I’ve been searching for to make a South American dish. This might be the only item I would consider purchasing from here. Overall, I recommend checking out Becky's if you're interested in specialty spices—they have a wide variety of powders available!

Love it the store always smells fresh the vibe is amazing and great customer service! And it’s a restaurant takeouts only. Next time I am ordering one of the soup on the menu.

My husband and I needed items for dinner so we decided to try Becy because we've heard about it through a friend. We arrived before opening and the clerk was already inside and noticed us out front so he opened the store early. The clerk was very friendly, respectful and assisted us with all of our findings. The store is clean, fresh, and has a large variety of items you will need for all traditional African dishes. The prices vary and something may seem expensive depending on the quantity. The Best part is he's OPEN on Sundays. We are very thankful for a store like this that meets cultural needs. THANK YOU MR.SUNDAY!

I have been looking for good fufu near me for awhile. I decided to come here due to seeing good reviews. When we walked in it gave me hope because it was very cultured based. When we got our food he said to come back if it was not good. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING.The fufu was so gross. The soup was sour and the meat was absolutely nasty. We tried calling he did not answer we had to call back multiple times, he finally answered and we asked if we can get a refund or store credit he hung up on our faces. We decided to come back and he locked the door during store hours. If I could give it a zero I would.(this is my first bad review I ever left)

Spent more than $50 on egusi and fufu, and it was absolutely disgusting.
I am African, and I have never had food so disgusting in my life. The owner should be ashamed of himself.
If you want good african food, DO NOT COME HERE.
I'm ashamed of you Africans who are terrible cooks, open up an African shop, and think it'll sell just because people have never tried african food before.

Go up
