Carla’s Country Kitchen and Gift Shop is a gem! The Eggs Benedict here is stellar—honestly, the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were spot on, and the portion size was perfect. The service was quick and friendly, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Plus, the gift shop adds a charming touch, filled with cute items you’ll want to take home. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Great food, great staff in a pretty local restaurant.
We shared and tried a few different menu options, everything was pretty good.
They serve traditional American breakfast with eggs, pancakes, omelettes and fruits.
The service was awesome and lovely.
The restaurant is perfectly located in Morro Bay and was just across the street from our hotel.

Dropped in during Half Ironman, plenty of seating, only a block off main road. Busicuits are a gut bomb and slightly undercooked. Scramble was delicious. Bacon was cut in thick larger pieces. A little too much cream cheese for my taste. Service was attentive and quick

Stopped by to do guys brunch with my kiddo. All the food here is amazing. The oatmeal was a decent texture for my kiddo. I tried a bit of everything, and it was all top-notch. The staff here seeing a pre toddler treated him so well and was good with him.

I thought the biscuits would be interesting. The gravy seemed a bit thinner. It wasn't lacking flavor and was really good. With the texture of the biscuits being flaky it allowed for a unique absorption that allowed for crunch and gooey biscuit goodness. It's definitely worth a try.

I also like one thing here in particular. They don't over season their food. Most breakfast places go way to heavy on the salt....

Hailey and Carla have made an amazing business here, and it truly is a great staple for Morro Bay.

Pleasantly surprised at the speed of the kitchen and wait staff on a busy Saturday morning. I placed an order for my family of three and drinks came to the table immediately after the server walked out of view. I was looking at the atmosphere and stirring my coffee when the plate of food began to arrive.

Place is nice, lots of old country kitchen vibes. Waitress needed a break but overall staff was great. Food was good, good portions & very filling, decent prices. Cinnamon roll was good, could of used some more cinnamon but great texture. Orange juice and lemonade weren’t anything special. They also have a quaint little gift shop attached with cool home goods and novelty knickknacks. Definitely worth stopping in to eat if you want something classic and aren’t wanting a fish & chips type seafood spot.
