I'm very impressed with the selection of gluten free food as well as regular food items are. I was really impressed with how they handled the people that did not care to wear a mask during this COVID pandemic. Great store..

I have updated my review, previously I had lamented the fact that after the new owners took over this store it took many months to reinstall the water vending machine outside and when they did, it was with a "Primo" brand machine which adds minerals to the filtered water. I buy filtered water so that it doesn't clog up my kettle/coffee machine with mineral deposits so why would I pay extra for something that is IMHO a step backwards?
Well, finally there is now a regular Glacier water machine at the Cayucos supermarket although some times it reports that it is out of product, that said the last time I used it it was working.
As for the store itself, the new owner has made many improvements to the store layout and based on the prices of goods and the diversity of whats available I have increased my rating from one to two stars. The previous owner employed staff that were helpful and friendly like you would expect from a typical "mom and pop" corner store but I don't get that same vibe under the new management.

Good selection. They do not post the prices on half of the products in the store. I do not support this type of commerce.

By far my favorite little market. Alan is such a gem to this little town and has really improved the grocery items in the store since he took over. Such a family-oriented atmosphere that's a perfect fit for Cayucos.

Wonderful renovation! It’s so nice to see Cayucos have a great grocery store and know when we visit, we don’t have to head to morro bay for groceries anymore. The place looks great!

I stopped in to get a couple food items for my motel stay. And boy, was I surprised. Very clean store. Beautiful vegetables and nicely presented. A new counter with fresh meats displayed behind glass. Wow, fresh meat in Cayucos. I walked through the isles just to look. All new merchandise and lots of choices. I've been a visitor to Cayucos for several years. This store is an asset to the town. I was so impressed with the changes.

Better than good! A top notch convenience store with over the top selection of fresh produce, beer, wine, bread and any other staples you may need. The staff is total customer service oriented. Neat, clean, and the shelves are packed with product.
