Had an appointment at 8 told us it’s going to take an hr and a half waited no problem. came back told us that they just ordered a new part and it’s going to be about an other hr. Questioned it and had them ask someone and told us the other people tried to up sale us and tried to take apart our transmission for no reason and had already dropped it and it should be done in a min took and other hr. Got the car without my skid plate and it’s leaking. They also are saying our transmission is going bad we should come back to get it done. note this car is new So yeah bad experience. Won’t be going back.

Don’t visit unless your needs are very simple and routine. They do not know anything about hybrids and multiple members of the team gave very foreboding opinions and diagnosis on my vehicle that were off base. They were clueless about my car and recommended towing it to the dealership and then a random person from Craigslist fixed it in 30 minutes and $60. Professional mechanics should probably know more than the occasional hobbiest right? 🤔 The mechanics are all young and I can see now- inexperienced. When I called to let them know and complain they took zero responsibility. In a small town they aren’t motivated to do better because they know how limited our options are.

I took my Chevy Kodiak here for its first oil change after getting a completely new motor installed. I tried a few other shops in Mount Shasta and they sent me packing because of the height of the vehicle. I supplied the oil and the filter and they only charged me $35 and that included tightening all 32 of my lug nuts to the correct specifications. I was concerned that they had some low star ratings but it does not reflect on how they operate. Everything was done within 45 minutes of dropping the truck off.

Listen, I’ve been to over 20 mechanics in my lifetime for various fixes and troubleshooting. So when I tell you brooks cares and knows what they’re talking about you better believe it. Most mechanics will say “it might be this, it might be that, I think it’s this, let’s try some stuff and see if that fixes it” and they charge you all along the way for a maybe. This shop has very good diagnostic mechanics that actually care and want your car to be fixed and not just bandaided. I took my grandfathers car to 2 shops before this one that told me absolute ludicrous fixes that seemed so unnecessary I didn’t even bother. With brooks it makes sense and if it didn’t they would explain it to you the whole way. I’ll always be coming here as long as I’m in the mt Shasta area.

We had taken our Tahoe to them a number of times, Repairs good until last time. Could not fix the problem cost us a lot of money and still did not fix the worst of it all I asked them to change out the spark plugs. He refused to do Saying that they were fine. The vehicle is in another shop now and they say the spark plugs are bad. Have not driven the vehicle because of the problem since it left Brooks after they had it for six months very disappointed never will go again!!!!!

I was passing through town on a road trip for a couple of days and my car was in need of an oil change. I called and was able to book an appointment for the following day. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy. The staff suggested I visit the nearby park while I wait as I had my pup with me. We enjoyed a very nice walk, and returned after 45 minutes. On top of the oil change they did an inspection of my vehicle which helped settle my nervousness for continued travel. I highly recommend brooks! The service and price were great!

Passing through in our campervan and noticed an oil and transmission leak. They were able to help us get back on the road quickly and were sensitive to our situation of being on the other side of the country with no where to stay but our camper. Friendly and attentive staff!

My wife and I were traveling South on I-5 when all of a sudden we hear a loud bang and our check engine light comes on, saying reduced engine power. Luckily we were only a few miles from Brooks.

When I pulled in, it was clear they were very busy. We were on our way to a good friend's wedding and reality started to set in that we may not be able to make it.

The manager, Dave, was extremely friendly and helpful. Him and another mechanic were able to take a look and diagnose the issue within about 30 minutes of our arrival.

On Dave's recommendation, we took a quick walk around the local city park while they went to work. When we came back, they informed us that a few parts needed to be replaced. They had already ordered them with overnight shipping.

We booked a hotel and Dave was kind enough to drive us over himself. By the time we had to check out in the morning, they had completed the repairs and picked us up from the hotel in our own vehicle. We were back on the road before noon and thankfully, will be able to still make our friends wedding.

My wife and I are still blown away at how phenomenal their service was. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you!!
