I chose this one cause they showed a couch in one of the picture. Unfortunately the couch is gone. However the coffee was great and so was the service. Plenty of parking nearby.

Friendly staff. I got a latte, it wasn't that good, tastes a little stale in my opinion. Vibes are slow and chill, good place to sit and talk a bit. Overall nothing special about the place or the food.

Tried the seasonal tiramisu latte. Came out to $7+ for a med. staff was friendly and helped clean off a table when requested. Nice ambience for studying and getting work done.

The coffee is OK. I usually get a latte and today I got a freeze. The freeze is very yummy. The people here are very nice. Once I accidentally forgot to mention decaf, and they remade my coffee free of charge.
I mostly come here for the wifi and grab a coffee and/or food while I work on my laptop. I tip if I plan to stay for a while. However, the wifi is not working today. So now I need to go somewhere else with wifi and buy another coffee. I wish they would have told us the wifi was not working ahead of time. I also wish they'd be open til 5:30pm or 6pm instead of closing at 5pm.

The staff are kind and welcoming although I came in at closing. The espresso was great (I ordered an iced caramel latte) but the caramel separated from the drink. The atmosphere was great with plenty of teas for sale on display.

Very beautiful cafe with cozy interiors and lots of cute stationary sorta items to buy.

However, the coffee is very average. The staff is warm and told me the store has been around for 20 years.

This is a cute little shop with a charming atmosphere, but unfortunately, it’s not a good choice for coffee lovers. If freshly roasted coffee is important to you, you might be disappointed—there’s no roast date labeled on the bags, so it’s hard to tell how fresh the beans really are. While the store has its charm, the lack of transparency about bean freshness makes it less appealing for those who prioritize quality and freshness in their coffee. It’s a nice place to visit, but not ideal for true coffee enthusiasts.

Clocktower is a cozy coffee shop, but after a few visits, I'll probably not return again.

First, some positives. It's a very charming spot with nice decor and even some assorted items for sale. The staff are friendly and swift. The menu is extensive, with a notably broad selection of lattes & mochas.

Unfortunately, after sampling a bit of the drinks I've realized I'm just not a fan of the coffee. There are other cafes even in Mountain View that I think serve better quality, even if they may not have as many syrups in stock. Speaking of the syrups, they can be hit-or-miss. The "banana" in the Banana Nut Latte was more fragrance than flavor, and the Almond Zebra Mocha tasted a bit too artificial for my liking.

Unlike me, one of my friends is a regular at Clocktower, and he loves both the drinks and snacks on offer. So, I think it's worth checking this place out at least once to know if you're into it. At least it's better than supporting the big chains 😉
