I had the smash burger… niman ranch beef cooked to perfection with caramelized onions on a soft squishy potato bun with a yummy sauce. The vibe is great… pinball machines and books you can borrow in a cozy space. There’s also a great outdoor patio. Every person we encountered was kind and helpful and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our food. I will definitely return.

This is the coolest place in Morro Bay, without a doubt. Unique food with a lot of love and locally sourced ingredients. Interesting craft beer, cider, and wine choices. Pinball!!! Some of the best coffee in Morro Bay, without a doubt. Caring people make cool places; it's simple. Great outdoor seating for people-watching and sun tanning. And they do some cool events, so keep your eye out, and don't miss this if you stop by Morro!

Amazing food! Ordered the smash burger, pulled pork sandwich, empanada and kale salad. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Great location in Morro Bay, walking distance to the bay. Cool trendy indoor area with pinball machines, (including a Jurassic Park machine from the 90's). The food is all made from scratch and delicious! Had a super juicy burger and the empanadas are also a bomb treat! Great outdoor seating area as well! Love this spot! Locally owned gem!

I was trying to decide what to order and was told that they have "the best meatball sub you've ever had." I ordered it and was not disappointed. It was, in fact, the best meatball sandwich I've ever had, super chill vibe too.

Babydudes in Morro Bay feels like it’s been nurtured by and for the community. Everything— from the carefully crafted menu and thoughtful events calendar to the in-house reading library—shows that real care has gone into this place.

I tried the chicken salad sandwich, and it was AMAZING. Huge props to the lovely chef who suggested adding slaw to my sando—it made it so fresh, colorful, and crunchy. My partner went with the smash burger, which hit all the right notes of umami with perfectly balanced flavors (seriously, melt-in-your-mouth goodness).

The folks here are genuinely kind and welcoming, making you feel at home the second you walk in. The vibe is relaxed and cozy, yet still energetic with locals, families, and friends enjoying good food and good company.

Babydudes is clearly invested in its neighbors and visitors of all ages. We left feeling like we’d discovered a true gem (no doubt we’ll be back!). I’ve already told my family this needs to be their new go-to spot.

Long story short: Babydudes hits the spot in every possible way. If you’re looking for quality ingredients, heartfelt hospitality, and genuinely great food in Morro Bay, this is the place. It’s officially my new favorite whenever I’m back home, and I can’t recommend it enough!

I have yet to have their main food yet, but I met the owner tonight...super cool and kind. Plus, their chocolate chip cookies are some of the best I've ever had! Such a cool atmosphere and chill vibe. Check it out if you're in town and don't skip the cookie!
