They have a policy that totals under $5 have a $0.5 fee. My total was $4.95 and I asked if they would round it up to $5. They refused.

The tamales here are very good. That’s the only thing I stop for. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I love this little store

Close to my house. Sometimes the service is good, sometime it’s not. The store has everything you need. If you are looking for organic produce, and healthier snacks and foods I would go to Ava market though.

Fabulous place!! Have been a customer for > 10 years. Always squeaky clean, everything from fresh super premium bread to bulk spices, fresh produce (ginger!), meats, eggs, dairy, canned goods, great beers, and the entire staff is consistently friendly, bilingual, industrious, and gracious. Respect!

They advertise tamales but can't answer questions about them. They just have them. It's a simple question what salsa they have in the chicken tamales but if the store people don't try what they sell and don'tmake them in house....sketchy, where do they get the tamales we can ask those people questions. 2.79 each too. No customer service either not even good morning. Just stare at you till you buy something.

Small neighborhood market with great tamales and Mexican pastries. They have a small produce section with fresh local produce. We usually get plantains from here. Tamales are wonderful. Soft, fresh and flavorful. Vegetarian (jalapeno and cheese) tamales are also available. Pastries & cookies here are also great! Fresh, melt in the mouth with the right amount of sugar. Come here to pick up a bunch of pastries and tamales for your weekend brunch and coffee 🙂

Could be friendlier, No hello or thank you have good day. Tamales 3.48 and doesn't come with salsa. If they had better service I would return.
