Very happy with the busted out fin box repair Nick did. Came out like new. Great price for his services, and great prices for gear in his new shop in Morro Bay. Definitely recommend you stop buy there first if you're looking for fins, traction, leashes or a board bag. Like online prices. Way better than the well known store in town. Also has a crazy amount of stuff for ding repair and glassing.

When you want to build stuff with fiberglass and resin, you need a shop with a wide variety of materials and the expertise to guide you through the process. You will get all that with The Craft. Nick and Ryan are both excellent resources and will spend the time with you to find what you need to get the job done, and listen to your boring surf stories too.

They have the best selection of fins on the Central Coast and it is a great store of surfboard related gear and accessories: bags, leashes, fins, etc. This place is a real surf shop, not a clothing store with a few boards just for show.

If you want to shape your own board, I highly recommend their shaping classes. They spend solid time with you and help dial in the exact shape you are trying to get. We did a class with my kids and a friend and the experience was fun, exciting, and we got excellent new boards out of the deal. A great value!

Can’t stress enough how kind and professional the owner is. I’m a Cal Poly student, and when someone really banged my board in the craft center The Craft fixed it before glassing free of charge! All in all, my board turned out beautifully and I’m glad I went here.

I brought in my 25-year old longboard for repair. The tail needed to be rebuilt (from my nephew dragging it in the sand), some glass cracks required repair and I had a handle inserted into the deck. To say that the work was high-caliber would be an understatement. "Like-new" would be more accurate. The craftsmanship is incredible. Thank you for making my "rocket ship" again, a work of art ...and at a reasonable price !!

Stopped in for boat repair materials. Even though it is geared towards surfboards, they have all the fiberglass and gel coat products I needed. Great friendly local place. The type of local business that makes you feel great supporting rather than the big box store.
