Stopped by unexpectedly as I was staying at morro bay for the weekend. Spotted the shop so I figured I’d stop by and check it out. I’m glad I did got a smoking deal on a gt hardtail that was on sale! Thanks again love the bike!!

A neighbor recommended this shop as I am new to area. My Giant hybrid was in dire need of maintenance and adjustments as I have been neglecting it since I moved here. John, the shop owner, was so down to earth and helpful, it was like working with a good friend. The bike is like new again. The cherry on top is the prices are beyond reasonable. This shop is definitely worthy of my future business.

Stopped by while visiting Morro Bay.
We weren't even looking for a bike shop but we noticed Red Tail from across the street and I wanted to stop in.
Jon is a lovely guy. I was excited to see and hear about his own new bike as well as the shop.
I remembered a part I needed and he happened to have it, so that was lucky!
The shop looks great. I loved the logo so I had to treat myself to a T-shirt and a water bottle as well.
Very happy to have Jon and Red Tail here on the coast!🌈🚴🏽‍♀️🌈

My daughter asked me to give her the ability to actually stop her Super 73. I decided I'd keep the you tube tutorials and trial by error to myself. And these e bikes are more akin to my moto ya know. Jon, came to my rescue and provided a life experience for my 12 year old girl. He sincerely spent some time with her as she handed over her "Super Bike" as she calls it. We found our bike shop and adventure moto travel await us she said. Priceless .

I just had my electric bike repaired by Jon Richert at Red Tail Bikes in Morro Bay. I had broken my rear wheel brake cable, and my front and rear brake pads needed replacing. So Jon masterfully changed the brake cable and brake pads, and now the eBike stops quickly and safely. Jon had the brakes done sooner than I had expected and all for half the cost of what other bike shops quoted me. I'm happy to have a bike shop in Morro Bay with such an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. He is a very pleasant store owner with great customer service and fair prices. Thanks again Jon!
