I ordered 5 dozen of tamales for Christmas and the chicken tamales were bad!!!! They smelled and by the time I realized it my 9 year old daughter had eaten them and got really sick for two days straight. I called the store within a couple of hours of picking them up and let one of the employees know I was going to get them replaced but we kept finding bad tamales and at this point no one wanted to eat anymore in fear of them also being bad. I decided I no longer wanted any more tamales because at this point I’m disgusted I went back to the store with all the tamales but just wanting to show them that no one ended up eating them after the bad experience and the owner was very rude he made it seem like I was trying to come up on something but thankfully I don’t have the need to do that. I’m fortunate enough to be able to get what I want without having to scam anyone. I hope no one else experiences this and I just want LA FAVORITA to do better I trusted you with my Christmas Dinner and you let me down. I will add a picture of the smelly tamales that no one ate I will not be returning to this place ever again!! DONT BUY TAMALES FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed our shopping experience at La Favorita Ranch market. There are many Mexican food offerings, including fresh produce and meats. We were dissapointed with the pollo asada though, the meat was tough. They are selling Lysol disinfectant spray though which is great! And they offer Iron Beer (cola) and Materva.

Need a quick bite to eat? The Empanadas are where it's at! The friendly and courteous staff will make you feel like you're at your tias house. If you're in Temecula you don't want to miss this hidden gem!

Fantastic flavors! They marinate meat so well. All ingredients from our nachos from here. They always have fresh tamales. Hot and fresh tortillas 🤤. All around great market. If you craving Mexican skip out on the Vkns and Staters and give a small business a shot.

This is my favorite market in Temecula! The crew is great and always has a recommendation for something new to try when I ask. The fresh tortillas are excellent you can’t go wrong when you shop here!

I used to love the sweet bread from here, it used to be the best you could find in the area. But lately the quality has gone down a lot. My concha is way burned, hard as a rock and the inside is a mess. Either their previous or normal baker is absent or just stopped caring, but the quality now is very bad. Other than that the staff is awesome.

We are in town visiting, and I thought I would find somewhere to eat with local flavor. I thought this was a restaurant but it is a well stocked Mexican grocery store as well as a restaurant in the back, with take out or an area for dine in.
We got carnita quesadilla and a burrito. Both were very good, but the carnita quesadilla was especially delicious.
The people were friendly and helpful. I don't know any Spanish and it was still easy to order.

1st time there. Only went for bosses mother’s Mexican Coke. WOW!!! Who knew this was here! Fresh pan dulce, great drink assortments, fresh drinks made, meat market, etc…. What a great find. Not to mention the workers were all so nice and helpful.
