I try to buy the healthiest food available but most of the time this store either doesn’t have organics or the organic produce is already half rotten. The produce manager says it’s because organics don’t last as long but it’s not a problem in higher end stores. I would not shop here if we had a decent store that was closer than 40 minutes away.

It was difficult to find things. The fish section is super small and for some reason the chips are split onto two different isles. The beer selection is weak as well. I was surprised by that given all the local breweries nearby. Prices are standard for a Food Lion and the overall selection was good though.

Kim is the best!!! I was having trouble doing an online order for the beach bc I didn’t have my mvp number and she helped me get that over the phone and made my day!!! There’s been several other occasions she has checked me out and been so nice. She is the best ! Don’t let that employee go! Give her a raise !!!!

I want to give a well deserved shout out to Connor (cashier). I stopped in Sunday afternoon to pick up a few items. The store at the time was packed. Although there were only two lanes open plus the self checkout he didn't panic or seem flustered at all. I was about third in line and he was super professional with every customer as well as acknowledged everyone. I think management could have handled the lines a bit better, but this cashier proved to Food Lion and the Customers his great attitude and caring. Great asset to the company, don't lose him.

Employees are always very helpful and go the extra mile when needed. The store is clean and well stocked. They do a good job with curbside and delivery. Prices are reasonable and it is centrally located in Pilot Mountain. Also very close the interstate if you’re just stopping by.

Kim Leftwich is what makes this store one in its own. I have rarely seen a manager go so above and beyond in regards to customer service. The store is well stocked and well cleaned, but this specific manager is exactly why this review got 5 out of 5 stars.
