Let me say this used to be a wonderful place to stay, never elegant but nice and clean. We rented 4 rooms, one was a suite. The cleaning ladies were sweet, they changed the beds and left clean towels. The floors, wiping down windows were never done. We would go to the pool each day with black feet. I was embarrassed till everyone was talking about the nasty floors and black feet. The suite however was an entire different level of nasty. I was going to make up the sofa bed because my daughter was arriving late. It was the mattress from hell. It had been peed on, puked on, black feet, etc. I would not have let a dog sleep on that. I went to the office and Sammy said that’s the way people do. After a while he did switch out the sofas, but we wouldn’t let anyone sleep on it. Sammy the manager a put down the supposed owners that they didn’t care. Well let me tell you who the owner was the former mayor of Atlantic beach. I got in touch with him and he was shocked and was going to send our money back. lol , of course we didn’t get our money back, and low and behold he is known as a slum lord. It’s really sad, his father would have been so disappointed. I saw call the health department if you find horrible conditions trust they do not care about you, just your dollars.

We love to fish and the hotel provides a great experience for fishing. It is clean and safe. They are always welcoming. The price is good and it's close to the places we like to go. Our grandson loved it and he's ready to go back and stay longer. So he can fish.

This hotel has provided my family with tons of memories and will continue to do so. The staff is fantastic, Sammy is a great man to have around! It’s been a safe and great place to spend my time off.

The room was not at all what was depicted in the website. It probably hasn’t been remodeled in 50 or so years. The sliding glass door was nearly impossible to open, close, lock and unlock. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. The pool area was so out-of-date. The A/C was terrible. The view of the trailer park was awful. A few of the staff were rude. The money we paid was outrageous for this antiquated motel. We were highly disappointed and will never go back or recommend to anyone. Awful!

Had a great time at the Oceana Hotel. Great service, clean rooms and the beach front location right at the pier made our trip one to remember. Would recommend to anyone

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were nice and they supply more than I expected (soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner plus towels & sheets of course). However, the photos that pop up were taken a long time ago things have changed. The rooms have been updated, but it seems like the bathrooms were forgotten in the process. I would definitely come back if the opportunity presents itself.

My friend and I stayed here August 23-28, 2023 and it was the most amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was outside near the pool. The room was recently renovated and was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the views and walking the pier. The beach was delightful and the emerald green ocean is breathtaking. The pool was so nice. It was clean and not crowded at all. Thank you for the beach chairs and umbrella on the beach. I will definitely be going there again soon. Thank you to the staff and management for making our vacation a memorable one.
