This gift shop was steps away from the house we were staying at. I regret only visiting on our way home from vacation because there is SO much to see inside, I definitely couldve spent more time there!The woman working the day I stopped was amazing! So friendly and it was pleasure chatting with her. The store and selection was above and beyond, you will absolutely find something for everyone here. If I find myself back in Weaverville, I will absolutely stop again. This is a must stop for awesome gifts!

It was a pleasure to meet owners Dean and Teresa and browse for local art and gifts in their shop. Tessa's Shop Around the Corner has many unique hand crafted items beautifully displayed in vignettes throughout the well-lit space. When I find a shop like this I'll purchase a few items to have on hand for birthdays or housewarming gifts. Big thank you to Dean, for eagerly sharing info about other Main Street businesses and the Weaverville, NC area. The referral to The Twisted Laurel for lunch was perfect ! I'll return to this area to support this shop and the other welcoming businesses in this neat town. You're kindness was much appreciated.

My daughter and I stopped into shop at Tessas Shop Around the Corner yesterday. The owner was so warm and inviting and her shop was whimsical and inspiring! My daughter just kept commenting on how lovely all the products were. Shopping at small businesses is something we encourage in our children, because unfortunately a lot of that is lost these days. We will definitely be back! My daughter purchased (with money she saved) a pair of slippers (great deal!) a necklace, and earrings. Check this adorable shop out next time you're in Weaverville!

Cute little store that located in downtown Weaverville, NC that sells kids toys, jewelry, local honey, local artist crafts, signs, easter decorations, barsoap, lotions, clothing, and also mudpie brands.
I bought a lip balm and some bath bombs for my kids.

I visited this shop last week and haven’t stopped thinking about how wonderful my experience was since! Tons of locally made goods, the sweetest trinkets, and most importantly, the owner was such a joy to speak with - can’t wait to go back! Truly a small business you’ll feel so good supporting ❤️🌟

I cannot say enough positives about this shop. The items are reasonably priced, lovely, and almost everything has been created by local artists and craftspeople. The owners, Teresa and Dean, are some of kindest and friendliest people we’ve ever met. We chatted for quite a while. If you’re in the Asheville area, take the short drive to Weaverville and visit this place!

I recently hosted a table for an event at my church where I provided table decor, desserts and a small gift for those at my table. I came to “The Shop Around the Corner” to find a special gift for all the people at my table. Not only did I find the perfect gift for all 8 place settings the items were all bagged individually with care in a beautiful gift bag ready for the table!!! The gifts were a great success.
