Just really awesome coffee. I love to try different coffee shops and roasters when I travel. On a trip to visit my son in Pittsburgh I found Java Jeffrey. I just got a regular drip coffee and it stood out from the first sip. I’ve ordered beans a couple of times (shipped to Minneapolis) and they are equally impressive. If you are looking for ambiance, a place to sit and work or chat, or food to eat, this won’t be the place - since there is none of that here. But if you want great coffee, this is one of the best - if not the best - I’ve had.

This take-and-go coffee shop has the best brew in the Mon Valley. It's conveniently located and easy to park. The staff are not only coffee-making experts, but they are incredibly kind and welcoming folks, too! This place is a true gem ☕️

This place offers exceptional coffee with all of the types of coffee you would expect from a good shop. A lot of places use coffee purchased from Lavazzata or other bigger roasters. The super friendly owner roasts his own right there in the shop so you know it is always fresh and never over roasted. Over roasted beans are usually a sign of poor quality coffee beans. I am a home roaster so I do not have beans delivered to my house, but Java Jeffrey does offer this as a service.

The owner is a hardworking friendly guy who really focuses on the quality of every cup. This is obvious when you watch him measure the beans, prepare an espresso, or make a French press or Americano.

Definitely a hidden treasure in West Mifflin.

I was so happy to see a small coffee shop pop up in West Mifflin. I was beyond pleased with my coffee and Jeffrey himself, so I was very excited when I found out he delivered his beans. I ordered some on Friday afternoon, thinking it wouldn't be here til Monday, and to my surprise and delight there they were on my doorstep the next day. Then, when I open the box there is a handwritten thank you from Jeffrey himself. Every community needs businesses like this, and it makes me so happy that the one I grew up in has Java Jeffrey's.

This man deserves a key to the city for the work he is doing with coffee. I have tried all of his roasts and not a single one disappointed. The quality and care that goes into the roasting at Java Jeffery Coffee is transparent each morning when I freshly grind my beans and the aromatic smell fills my kitchen. Would very highly recommend.

Ordered on-line on Sunday, delivered Monday!! Awesome service! Hardest part was waiting a few days to pull first shot, but boy-was it worth the wait! Had a Cafe Americano and wife had flat white-both were fantastic (espresso blend). Jeffrey’s knowledge and passion shine through his entire business—looking forward to trying all coffees/roasts.
