First time shopper at this company. Liked everything about this place, except the guy that cut my lunch meat. Rude, short sharp answers & offered no avenue for help when he had no answer to my questions. On the fence about returning. Can only give 3 stars because of this one person, & I'd give a 2.5 if I could. He made me feel as if I was bothering him .

We've been shopping at Freed's once or twice a week for the last 40 yrs.. Great local butcher and grocery store. Family owned, they take great care to offer superior customer service. Quality meats and local produce. Freed's is part of our life.

I love this little hidden market. It has a feeling of a friendly family market. Not all commercial like. The employees actually talk to you and will even remember you and share baking ideas. That's special treatment to me...❤

We try to support local small businesses as much as possible over the big chain stores because the little guys are who built this country. This is little hidden gem is a great little Mom & Pop grocery store that's been here for a long time. They do their own butchering onsite and stock some of the name brands as well. My Grandfather butchered for them back in the 50s and maybe the 60s. The meat selection here is good and they're not gouging folks like the big chain stores. Check out the deli case too as they have some nice selections and the folks behind the counter always greet you with a smile. We'll come to Freed's as long as they're open.
