We hadn't shopped here before, but we were coming back home from a trip down to Maryland and this was the closest grocery store on the way back. For as small as it appears on the outside, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well stocked it is with a variety of items. They had a few things I struggle to find at Walmart.

We had stopped in there to see if they had some premade sandwiches. We were from out of town and didn't want much for dinner. Me and my husband fell in love with the little market. It had such a beautiful selection. They were well stocked and their deli prices were amazing! We stopped back before going home to get some cheese and lunch meat. We sure wished this place was closer to our home!

Owners got the place handed to them by their parents act like snobs who know best like to be condescending to their employees since they only have “up to 4th grade education” there are better options now in the mountains unlike how it use to be

Great meat prices and selection. The store is filled with nice people. My ONLY complaint about G&D is that their pizza is way too cheesy for me.

This is a must visit if you are looking to stock up meat. There are several great sales throughout the year.

Love this place. Reminds me of my Uncles store back in the 60s. I will not buy my meats anywhere else, and the prices are very fair. The employees are so kind and Glen is a hoot. He's always smiling n willing to help.

We need more of these and less W-mart. Friendly, well stocked, great meat selection. They also have grab and go homemade sandos, soups, and salads. Same as the big box but fresh and made with care.

Order a pizza, grab a couple of their fresh ground burgers, or snatch up a homemade pepperoni roll (ask the staff for a marinara from the back for your dipping pleasure). If you are around for the holidays and want to skip cooking, they serve holiday meals to go! We tried Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter last year. The meals are huge! You order and pay in advance and pick up the morning of the holiday. It comes with meats, sides, rolls, everything you need, including dessert! Just grab a gallon of tea and a bag of coffee for the complete dinner.
