Chestnutty Bargains is a very unique store that is fun to explore. The first impression upon walking in the door is always good. It's a store with ever changing merchandise, so it's worthwhile to visit often whenever you're in the mood or the vicinity. The variety of merchandise is generous in an organized and pleasant environment. The prices are the best thing of all. Be sure to look over the frozen food and desserts options. This might become a new favorite store for you as it has become one for me!

Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.

Okay, this owner thinks he's pretty slick. I frequented the store on a regular basis when he first changed it over to
Chestnutty Bargains. I bought a variety of things from throw pillows to table and chairs and lighting.
Very very reasonably priced. What he is doing now is marking his items 3x of what they are worth. Then he is putting 50% off stickers on to show you are getting a big bargain which is probably what you would have paid for it in the original store.
You are not a wise old man anymore. I caught on to your tactics immediately. Everybody else will too. You are shooting yourself in the foot. It is time for you to retire.
I will never stop by again. And lastly ; fix your effing parking lot. I thought I broke the rear axle of my car when I pulled out from the big ditch at the telephone pole that you can't see until you're on top of it.
Yes I'm annoyed.VERY annoyed . I get a little agitated when somebody tries to insult my intelligence.

Very nice employees and their prices are okay .Only thing is I think they made a mistake by getting rid of the discount grocery store and making it a retail bargain outlet.I don't shop there as much as I did when it was a grocery store .

Refreshing to get low gas prices in PA, when gas around this point in time, in the state, is either $3.00 or more. Definitely a plus!
