Past few times of my visit, I have been seeing some expired items. Few weeks ago when I went, I was trying to get this samosa, at-least 5-6 bags were expired. Then I called a staff there to get me one that’s not expired. I went there again yesterday. Saw some new snacks, again they are expired. This time I didn’t bother calling anybody. Thought a review with a picture (taken on Sep 30) is better. I’m sure there are more items that are expired. Someone responsible for that store should take some serious look into this.

Looks huge, very clean , spacious , ample car parking , wide variety of selection of products, still missing many of regional (south) products. I took one star out due to the pricing, near by competitors had better pricing on many stuffs then the store. Since the store is major player I expected the price would be very competitive but not the case on some major fast moving produce. There onsite kitchen is one of top notch to try , the prices are cheap to normal on kitchen made snack items. There is no space for dining in the snacks but you can always make it Togo. Restrooms are available at the store. All in all a good store to have a nice shopping experience if you really don’t worry about the prices.

It's an awesome store to pick up all the requirements of an Indian kitchen. No item of Indian essential items is missing here. You name the item/product you get it. Store is amply spaced with adequate staffing. Ready made chapathis, snacks, hot samosas, cutlets were also available. I was really impressed with the quality and services at this store. The store closes at 8 pm.

Updated went from 3 to 5 star.
After the recent upgrade, my prime store for Indian goods holds a deeper place in my heart. The store is just so wonderful now, very well organized and spacious, it is not smelly like it used to be and everything seems to be new and fresh even the groceries. More variety of brands than before. My personal favorite is the addition of the bakery, which exhibits fresh made pastries of the Indian subcontinent.

Old:You will get most items you expect from an Indian store and in more variety. They give out sweets on special days. I would however appreciate it if they update old fruits and vegetables that get left behind there. You can get many Indian exclusive brands, candy, and ice cream here as well.

Large produce section with everything except basil. It's a great supermarket. But not paying $50 for a box of mangos even though it is from India.

New store looks amazing very clean and has a delightful new deli section of samosas. Lots of fresh veggies and chow chow snacks. Plus staples like eggs and milk. Woman was so helpful and bagged my samosas separately each and labeled them. I am trying everything! Wow.

Buyer Beware!!! I recently purchased an item from Patel Brothers in Bensalem, PA on January 26, 2025, only to discover that it had expired on January 16, 2025—a full 10 days before my purchase.

After reaching out to the Bucks County Department of Health, I was shocked to learn that they cannot enforce the removal of expired food items, except for liquid dairy and visibly spoiled or contaminated products. Apparently, "best by" dates are only guidelines for quality, not safety.

That said, it is still extremely poor practice for a grocery store to leave expired products on shelves without any clearance section or warning labels. Customers deserve transparency so we can make informed choices about what we are buying.

From now on, I’ll be checking every expiration date before purchasing groceries in Bucks County—and I’d advise others to do the same.
