We are here but didn't stay in the hotel part. The rooms are very nice looking and fit the era/atmosphere of the historical building. The food was wonderful!! Delicious taste and price is great!

Booked this because the pictures made it look like a nice rustic hotel. But while quaint the rooms were basic and unclean. One had no top sheet, and the other still had old coffee granules in the coffee machine. We had booked breakfast to be included but that was a joke with a yoghurt, apple, oatmeal and a muffin left out. Would not recommend.

The condition of the room is modern in a traditional setting. Bathroom is super with a powerful shower head. The lights are also a combination of traditional table lamps and modern wall lights. The wall paper is elegant. While the air conditioner is not functional, it does not affect comfort. The bed is comfortable. It is a great value. I will use it again.

It is mystifying that this place received anything other than one star. We made reservations in Nov 2024 for a December stay with friends. We weren't able to select our room, so during the week, we went to Mercersburg to see the rooms. The doors were locked and the hotel was dark. A charge was immediately made to our credit card which we thought was unusual, but let it go. Upon check-in the person tried to charge us again, to which we explained we had already been charged. We were told it would be straightened out. This charge was a less amount than the first. The room was small and smelled. The food was marginal. When we checked out, we were told we would have to call to speak to the "computer girl" because she wasn't available, but were told that she thought we had stayed in November. There are 8 or 9 rooms. When balancing the books, shouldn't the charges match the number of rooms used? The staff is inept and with a number of other choices for a hotel stay, I would recommend going elsewhere. We are still waiting for restitution.

My husband and I woke up not knowing what to do this weekend. We ended up here. Absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing. This is what you would get at a very expensive restaurant. This is not Hoss's. The best drinks and customer service. I highly recommend this historical site!

The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The salmon and stuffed zucchini blossoms were awesome, as were the chicken/lemongrass potstickers. Highly recommend.

Room had a spot cooler sitting in the middle of the room, not hooked up. Street noise was very loud. Did not need the roll of condoms or the dirty sock under the bed. Lots of hair in the bathroom on the floor. Wallpaper in the bathroom was pretty.

Came here for dinner but did not stay in a hotel room. Very beautiful historical home. Food was pretty good but not great. Service was amazing.
