Love Walt’s Grocery store for so many reasons. It’s local owned, they constantly give back to the community, and it’s smaller size makes shopping faster. The fresh meat is always top notch, and I feel good fixing it for my family. We are very fortunate to have such a top notch business in Mercer!

It's sorta tough to review a grocery store. Unless there is some egregious issue that is glaringly horrible, like rats or spilled food everywhere, what can you really say. Ahhh, they have food for sale. And drinks. In all honesty, it's a typical store that really has no great aspects or poor. I would recommend it, but only if it's convenient. I wouldn't travel 45 minutes for a gallon of milk

You'd think with how expensive they are, they'd have decent customer service, right? Wrong. Their employees at checkout and the office are always the rudest people, clearly ones who don't want to be there. The older woman with the purple hair (she refused to give me her name) is by far the worst. Always has to have the last comment, the last laugh. Belitting customers right in front of them! I am appalled. I've tried to give this place a few chances because I'd love to support a small buisness over a chain store but I have had ONE good experience out of the five times I've been here.

Wanted lunch meat and cheese. Stood there for 5 minutes. One girl looked at me twice never told the other three people working there. Another girl looked at me and walked away. The other two never quit talking to even check on the counter to see if anyone was standing there. Very poor customer service. Never did get my lunch meat and cheese. Produce section very poor selection. Will not go back

Going down hill really fast. My family bought a cake for my 50th birthday from Walt's and let me start by saying I have made better in an Easy Bake Oven when I was 5. It was the worst cake ever and embarrassing to serve to others in my family. We have tried to contact Walt about the situation but nobody has answered a phone or responded in a week and half. Every sandwich we have gotten from the deli has been dry and I mean so dry you chock. Walt's has been a family name for my family my whole life and it's a shame I have to write this review!!!
