Fantastic first experience at the Rose Cottage! The owner and chef is so sweet and took her time explaining the food to me and my guests. She also gave us a little history and tour of the first floor of the home. The teas were exquisite, and everything was delicious. The service was also beyond reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back!

The most wonderful personal tea pairing experience ever. The scones are to die for. We only go for the full experience on Saturdays and have never been disappointed. Can’t wait for the new season reopen in May 🤗

This was my second time visiting for the tea experience here. I highly recommend the drive to Montrose to sit and relax among period antiques in a gorgeous 1860's beautiful home. There is a monthly theme; this month it is chocolate. Every single thing I have ever tasted here from salad, to finger sandwiches, to decadent desserts have been spectacular. Typically groups of women frequent The Rose Cottage, but it would be a nice date for a couple, too. The owner is a gem and puts together interesting combinations of flavors that are amazing.

Today was my first time to have tea at the Rose Cottage. I’m new to the Montrose area. The food was excellent and such a variety. It happens to be chocolate month ( how did I get so lucky? 😀) We had chocolate scones that were the best I’ve ever had and several other chocolate desserts after we had our little sandwiches. We had so much she gave us a box to take them home with us. The owner was a wealth of local info and knew so much about the history of the house. She was delightful and she gave us a tour of the house before we left. It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours. I will certainly go back.

Amazing family, Truly dedicated to the art of tea service. Delectable offerings paired with amazing teas. Definitely worth the drive. We had a relaxing girls day out along with a dose of history.

A tea experience that is so relaxing and DELICIOUS! The food is like something you can’t get at a restaurant. The tea is perfectly brewed and you get your own private, beautifully decorated room. The dishes are gorgeous too. My mom and I love going for a special way to treat ourselves.
