I gave the mount ponoco one star because of their delhi section. I remember when you went to get cold cuts. It was no big deal you were in and out, now the cold cut section is terrible, Going to just get simple cheese today. the girl that was helping me, Stop cutting the cheese that I was getting to get a another person egg salad and then continue to cut my cheese. Needless to say, I asked 1 pound, I got point 1/2 . I noticed it after I got home and I didn't have nobody else but me to eat. The sandwich cuz, there will be not enough. I guess I'm gonna have to find another place to get my del items.

This grocery store should be shut down. I think it’s a Health code violation to have customers waiting in line for almost an hour with raw meat and dairy products. The owner should really consider hiring the appropriate amount of staff to keep up with the demands at his store. I will never shop there again, even if it it’s the last grocery store on earth. The eggs are still expensive, too.

They are rude. Especially the people in the grill area. They don’t even greet you when you go order. They’ve forgotten to make my order a few times. Sandwhich was prepared sloppily. Bread is hard and they need to retrained in customer service and quality. I’ve also already reached out and made a complaint online at there site and never got a response

Based on my own experience ShopRite is the best place you can buy meat ( beef, pork and chicken ) always fresh very high-quality and the price very reasonable. Also the seafood
And to be honest the vegetables, fruits deli, all good and I highly recommend it to shop from there. And inside there a big café with so many different hot and cold meals ready to grab. Plus they sell beer.
Organize. Clean. So many varieties. Good price. All what you need in a super market.

Had a horrible experience because of one employee and saw a mouse. The other day I went to do my weekly shopping and stopped at the deli department. While there I was greeted by a young lady who was very sweet. But my issue is not her it was another women behind the counter. I believe her name was Lorraine or something similar to that. While I was asking the girl a few questions, the women kept talking over her and answering the questions for her. I noticed the girl was starting to get a bit annoyed but she tried her best to hide it. Which good for her. When I was waiting for my deli meats I waited at the counter. I couldn’t help but over hear the conversations the women had with other customers and coworkers. She had a very rude attitude when it came to everyone. She obviously did not want to be there. As well I noticed she would do the talking over thing to everyone. No matter who was speaking. She was also taking orders as well. Once she was done with an order she went on to give it to the man she was helping. He said something was wrong not sure what I did not hear that part. But she was very rude to him about her error. She first tried to say it was what he wanted. He then tired to correct her saying it was not what he wanted. She tired fighting with him but she just went on to fix it. But she was very rude the whole time. Basically trying to make the man think he was wrong the whole time. It’s honestly such a shame they have someone like that working with people like that. What really upsets me is that the other people behind the counter sit there and act like her behavior is normal. Like they had to deal with it for so long that it’s just normal to them now. After 10 minutes or so my order was done and I thank the girl.( also want to add I asked for my deli meat paper thin and that girl did a amazing job. Was unable to get her name but she deserves a round of applause.) I then went on my way and decided to go the the cafe to pick up some lunch due to me not wanting to put anything together. While looking at my options I noticed running across the floor was a mouse. Which honestly ruined my appetite. If there is one there is always more. That means the whole store probably had mice and other things running around in there. I honestly wanted to leave my whole cart, but felt bad for who ever needs to put it back. So I paid and went on my way. But I will not be returning to this ShopRite. Between rude staff and mice I will go the next one.

this shoprite Is the worst I've ever been to the store is dirty. the staff is rude and unfriendly. I was treated wrostvthen a dog left out side in the cold. I had gone to customer service and ask for a club card. after waiting for a half hour which I normally wouldn't mind if what happen next. to find out when the lady came to help me . that while I was waiting g for the half hours he was talking to a friend of hers. and I was watching in that direction the whole time trying to find someone to help me when she final gets there I say can I please have a club card she gets the application and throws it at me with the club card. I left the application and card there and I refuse to go back because this isn't just a one time thing where staff is rude to me. I will travel the 20 min to stroudsburg to shop at that shop rite

Just an awful shopping experience. Rude people, long lines and store doesn’t feel clean. Requested thin cut lunch meat.. I’m pretty sure they cut it thicker than normal just because I asked 😂

Great store for purchasing a variety of products from vegetables, fresh seafood, meets, soft drinks, beer and wine. Souvenirs, Great place for a quick shop or vacation shop while visiting the area.
