UPDATE: Based on my past experience at this location, I expected to receive the same quality service and enjoy another sub. However, I was extremely disappointed to see live roaches crawling on the deli counter where the subs are prepared. Because of this, I immediately canceled my order and left. Unfortunately, after witnessing that, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location again.

I had a fantastic experience at the deli today! Mirlene made my jerk turkey sub, and she was both friendly and assertive in the best way possible. She greeted me with a warm smile and ensured my order was made exactly to my liking. Her attention to detail and confident suggestions made the process smooth and enjoyable. You can tell she cares about customer satisfaction and takes pride in her work. The jerk turkey sub was fresh, delicious, and perfectly made. Thanks, Mirlene, for going above and beyond! I shop here often but everyday after school there are a bunch of middle school kids. Stealing and hanging out. I guess the store doesn't care much. I have begun to avoid the store at this time even though it's a more convenient time for me to shop since that's when I pick up my kids.

I’m calling it quits at this store. Their produce section is just so consistently poor. Practically every time I go there (multiple times a week) I see yellowing or rotting fresh produce priced higher than Whole Foods. Last week they opened a “fresh” box of cilantro that smelled weird and was turning black. A month ago I had to point out to the produce manager that all the asparagus they had out was rotting in the bag. Their “green wall” is laughable. Publix may not be able to compete with prices of other stores like Aldi, but certainly with their buying power they should be able to get in moderately acceptable fresh produce.

Bath is really bad. The bathtub is completely filthy and stained also the sync,

The floor of the room is sticky. There are no blankets, and the sheets are stained.

The door of the room is completely dirty, as well as the curtain. Fortunately, the air conditioning works.

A great place to do your produce shopping. They have farm fresh veggies, fruits, and a variety of root crops. Prices are higher as compared to other grocery stores. However, it's very clean and organized!

This has to be the poorest example of a Publix around. The produce is always wilting, there is NEVER a stocked salad bar, there are fruit flies everywhere. This Publix is down the road from my job and today was the last straw. I went to check out and Sam saw me, then proceeded his conversation with a coworker - not a manager - and when he was done, he decides to check me out. “Where shopping is a pleasure” my AXX! The deli ALWAYS puts out cold chicken, I can’t even enjoy a salad because there is NEVER any lettuce or spinach out. I swear that salad bar had the same lettuce today as it has last week Thursday. Staff is piss poor and this location drastically needs a revamp.

I will be calling down to HQ in Lakeland because this has been a continuous issue for well too long.

My go-to grocery store. I love how enthusiastic the employees are! At any given moment you can stop one of them and ask where something is even if they aren't working in that particular section and they will help point you in the right direction. It feels like these employees genuinely want to be at work and it makes for a great atmosphere. Well done Publix! The store is always stocked and ready to go even before a major, hurricane as much as they can, which was surprising to me. It's clean and they almost always have some good deals to be had. Not overly crowded like most stores either. The only downside would be the parking lot sometimes can be a hassle. They do have many entrances and exits though to choose from. All in all, highly recommend this Publix particularly. I've even noted some employees going above and beyond for elders and mothers with a small child, helping them to the car with their groceries, loading them for them while they get into the car, and taking the cart back for them!! Now that is unheard of these days! ❣️
