Small wine stores like this are a treasure. At places like Augusta Food and Wine, customers always walk out the door with a fantastic wine because the shop is curated so well.

Shad was awesome and very helpful, guiding me towards some really interesting wine choices within my price point!

We live in California. Ordered a gift basket online for Thanksgiving for someone who lives in Chicago through Augusta Food and Wine. Basket sent was excellent quality and it was hand delivered. Great communication. When I called the number to confirm the order, owner himself picked up. Almost unheard of these days. Small shops like these are gems. Will definitely visit them next time we are in Chicago.

Augusta is the crown jewel in Lincoln Square's amazing collection of restaurants and specialty food & beverage shops. The shop is tiny, requiring careful curation of its goods. As a result, just about all of their products are outstanding. The cheese case is one of the best in the city and the wine-pairing skills of the staff is without peer. Don't miss the free Thursday night wine tastings!

Adorable local shop with a wonderfully curated selection of wines, liquor, cheeses, snacks, etc. My partner and I stopped in during a wine tasting and got to try some really interesting (and affordable) organic wines. And Claire, behind the counter, was pleasant and helpful in talking through some other selections. Great neighborhood spot!

How have I not reviewed this place yet?! I've been coming here for years! Great wine recommendations and a wide selection of cheeses and other accompaniments. Great prices! Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable. I feel like I learn something new every time I stop by. You need to stop by here and check them out if you're looking for wine for any occasion.

It is so clear that this is a passion project. Everything in this store is carefully thought out. Nearly every bottle has a handwritten paragraph about it. There is so much variety packed into one little shop without the snobbery you might find at comparable places. Price points at all levels, too! Also, Thursday wine tastings are so much fun! I have learned so much about wine from going to these tastings when I can. Everyone that works here is super knowledgeable and patient. My husband and I bring our 3 young kids and everyone is always so cool and understanding. I would give it more stars if I could!

I wanted to send something special to friends in Chicago. The process to order was easy and I was contacted to inform me of unavailability of the dates and offered a refund. My dares were flexible but still I was very impressed.

This is such a neighborhood gem! My dad is a huge wine connoisseur and this is the perfect place to shop for him. I've been able to get him delicious wines from labels he's never heard of. The staff is super helpful. They also have the most amazing selection of specialty foods.
