Hands down best butcher shop in the area. The quality of the meats and the cuts are second to none. Everyone that works there are polite and helpful. It has an “old school” style of customer service and fair pricing. It’s a family style neighborhood butcher like the ones I grew up with in the City. Be sure to stop by on when they grill outside and try a steak sandwich. They are amazing.

The meat and service are always excellent. Counter service starts to the left with the steaks and moves to the right. Their cuts are great. Everything is good, but I'm particular to smoked pork chops.

Highly recommend hitting it on a warm weekend when they are grilling. The steak sandwich is a delightful mess.

Our favorite place to shop in the area! The meat is great. It's nice to have some of their prepared dishes in the freezer, for those nights you don't want to cook.

Good selection of meat, prices seem fair.
The staff is always helpful and curtious.
One suggestion however, the food in the hotbox ( beans,pulled pork, ect.) needs to be stirred regularly. I pass on those items because they are so dried out on the top from not being stirred that it looks unappealing.

What a great find in Indiana. This store was so very clean. It had so many great deals on fresh and frozen meat. They also had a very nice Deli counter and a small area for fresh fruits and vegetables. We will be coming back glad we stopped in.

New to the area, 3 trips to Welchs never disappointed. Last night's steaks were melt in your mouth! The only place to buy meats. Thank you to all the kind people that work there ..se you soon.

I've been going to Welch's since I was a kid. Amazing brats, the best steak kabobs, dragobobs pork, and awesome stuffed mushrooms. There is something for everyone. Better prices compared to another meat shop in the area. I can't recommend Welch's enough!

They're always friendly and knowledgeable and their prices for fresh cut meat is really reasonable. You can also get basically whatever size or cut you need bone in or boneless. I got a 10 lbs pork but and another guy was there for (I'm guessing for an animal) a half pound piece of beef. They have all the barbecue products you will need for any event big or small. My wife and I love this place.
